Butt welding pipe fittings are one of the most popular connection types in pipeline systems.Pipe fittings have the connecting end for butt welding(BW) that called butt welding pipe fittings.The butt welding pipe fittings are used to connect steel pipes or pipe fittings which have the same size and schedule butt welding ends.It is designed for changing pipe direction and pipe diameter,branching or ending a pipe system.The ends of butt welding pipe fittings are usually plain ends or bevel ends.Butt welding pipe fittings are available in sizes from ½” to 72″.


 

CS Steel Buttweld Fittings are defined as a part used in a piping system, for changing direction, branching or for change of pipe diameter, and which is mechanically joined to the system. Buttweld fittings is a butt-welded connected pipe fittings, it is easy for installation and maintenance. There are many different types of BW fittings and they are the same in dimensions and schedules as the pipe.

Buttweld fittings (BW fittings) whose dimensions, dimensional tolerances et cetera are defined in the ASME B16.9 standards. Light-weight corrosion resistant fittings are made to MSS SP43. We also supply stainless steel butt weld fittings of ISO05251, EN10253-3, EN10253-4, GOST 17380/17378/17375/17376/17379, JIS etc.

2.ASTM A234 WP91 Heat Treatment

After forming at an elevated temperature, fittings are cooled to a temperature below the critical range under suitable conditions to prevent injurious defects caused by too rapid cooling, but in no case more rapidly than the cooling rate in still air. Heat treatment temperatures specified are metal (part) temperatures. Heat-treated fittings are to be treated according to paragraph 7 in Specification A960/A960M.
