Alloy 800H plate (UNS N08810 plate) is a widely used structural material for equipment that must have high strength and resist carburization, oxidation and other detrimental effects of high temperature exposure.

The 800H/AT is normally soldered with RA82 (ERNiCr-3) bare wire for applications up to 1450¡ãF. RA330-04 (N08334) bare wire provides closer thermal expansion coefficient matching, as well as higher strength.

Both alloys have the same chemical composition as Alloy 800 plate (UNS N08800), but the carbon content is higher in both grades – (0.05 – 0.10%) in Alloy 800H and (0.06 in Alloy 800H) – 0.10% ) 800HT board.

Incoloy Alloy 800 is widely used in equipment that must have high strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization and other harmful effects of high temperature exposure. For services requiring optimum creep and rupture properties, use Incoloy 800H or 800 HT. The high content of nickel and chromium in the alloy also provides good corrosion resistance.

Incoloy 800HT hot-rolled sheet is generally a nickel alloy sheet with a thickness of 3mm-5mm or more. Incoloy 800HT sheet inherits the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance of Incoloy 800HT.

Incoloy 800HT is further modified with titanium and aluminium combined levels (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance. Nickel alloys are double certified (800H/HT) and combine the properties of both forms.

Incoloy 800HT will not become brittle even after prolonged use in the 1200-1600¡ã F range where many stainless steels become brittle. 800HT exhibits excellent cold forming properties typically associated with Nichrome. When cold forming is extensive, the grain size produces a distinct undulating surface known as “orange peel”. Incoloy 800HT can be welded by common techniques used on stainless steel.

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-based alloy generally similar to Alloy 20 in water corrosion. It has useful resistance to boiling sulfuric acid up to 40% strength, 60% strength at 176¡ãF, and 150¡ãF at all concentrations.

Inconel 825 or Alloy 825 can be used for round bar, pipe, tube, sheet and plate. Inconel 825 is used in oil and gas or petrochemical applications and some marine and sour environments.

Due to the molybdenum and copper content, alloy 825 plate makes the alloy resistant to reducing agents and acids. Chromium provides oxidative resistance to conditions such as nitrates and oxidizing salts and nitric acid solutions. It offers excellent corrosion resistance through phosphoric and sulfuric acid and is generally the most cost-effective alloy for sulfuric acid service.

825 alloy sheet has excellent corrosion resistance. Resists general corrosion, intergranular corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking under reducing and oxidizing conditions. It can be easily worked hot or cold. Especially suitable for phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, sulfur-containing flue gas, oil wells, sour gas and sea water.

Incoloy 800 Sheets are a combination of nickel, chromium and iron alloys with advantages and properties such as excellent oxidation resistance, high temperature carburization and medium or high strength and excellent resistance to name a few.

Alloy C276 is an alloy that excels in a range of corrosive environments. It is resistant to strong oxidizing chlorides, reducing acids, hot sea water and saline solutions.

Hastelloy C-4 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with outstanding high temperature stability. It has high ductility and corrosion resistance. It’s high temperature resistance up to 1900 ¡ãF (1038 ¡ãC) makes it suitable for most chemical process application in the “as” welded condition.
Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to
which the austenitic stainless steels are prone). With its high chromium and molybdenum
contents, it is able to withstand both oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, and is resistant to
pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

HASTELLOY C276 is a Nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy that is considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy available. This alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process applications in an as welded condition. Alloy C-276 also has excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF. Alloy C-276 has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical environments.

Inconel 825 has good corrosion resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids and seawater. It is similar to A800 but has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion. It also has good resistance in neutral chloride media, stress-corrosion cracking and satisfactory resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Used in temperatures up to 1020 Degrees F.

Incoloy 825 is a nickel iron chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium. This nickel steel alloy¡¯s chemical composition is designed to provide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments

Alloy 201 is a wrought commercially pure Nickel with a maximum carbon level of 0.02%. This alloy provides highly ductile mechanical properties across a wide temperature range.It provides corrosion resistance in neutral to moderately reducing environments.

Commercially pure wrought Nickel with good mechanical properties over a wide range of temperature and excellent resistance to many corrosives, in particular hydroxides.

Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions. Outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis up to and including the molten state. In acid, alkaline and neutral salt solutions the material shows good resistance, but in oxidizing salt solutions severe attack will occur. Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550C. Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de aerated acid.
