Nickel alloy flange

Over and above the nickel copper base, elements like aluminium and titanium in the chemistry of the Monel K500 Lap Joint Flange proves to be very fruitful. In fact, this modified chemistry along with the heat treatment that is given to the alloy under controlled conditions ensures that the particles of both Ti and Al have been precipitated in the matrix of Monel K500.

Hastelloy C-276 is a Ni Mo CR superalloy added with tungsten, which has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments. The high content of Ni and Mo makes the Ni steel alloy particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environment, while CR transfers the performance of anti-oxidation medium.

Low carbon content can reduce the precipitation of carbides in the welding process, so as to maintain the corrosion resistance of the welding structure. This nickel alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitation in the HAZ, so it is suitable for most chemical process applications under welding conditions.
