Incoloy 800H pipe fittings elbows known to be more expensive than the former

Alloy 800H is a solution heat treated (2100¡ãF/1150¡ãC), controlled-carbon version of alloy 800 with improved elevated temperature properties. It has improved creep and stress-rupture characteristics in the 1100¡ãF (593¡ãC) to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC) temperature range.

The mechanical strength exhibited by both superalloys at elevated temperatures is very high. Incoloy 800 is primarily used in applications with temperatures up to 1100¡ã F, where alloys 800H and 800HT are normally used in temperatures above 1100¡ã F where resistance to creep and rupture is required. A combination of these factors is what makes both the alloys a high performance type. Since they belong to the same family, their properties are similar, yet the difference in their composition is what separates them. The most crucial dissent between both Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800 lies in their composition.
