Alloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. ASTM B407 UNS N08800 Incoloy 800 W. Nr. 1.4876 Welded Pipe is widely used for construction of equipment requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength, and stability for service up to 1500°F (816°C).

The pipes of seamless configurations have higher load-bearing capacity and strength over other grades.

Nickel based 800 Incoloy Hexagonal Pipe is known to have a good resistance to corrosion. Specifically speaking, the Incoloy 800 Pipe offers sufficient resistance against both carburization as well as oxidation corrosion.

N08825 Slip-On Flange N08825 Slip-On Flange are one such type of flanges that have outstanding resistance to oxidizing as well as reducing acids. The 800 series alloys were developed in the 1950s. At the time, nickel was in high demand for defense. To create heat and corrosion resistant materials with lower nickel content for commercial use, the 800 series alloys are made. Incoloy 800 has 2 notable changes. Alloy 800H (UNS N08810) limits the carbon content to the higher end of the acceptable range for Incoloy 800. Alloy 800 HT (UNS N08811) limits the carbon, aluminium and titanium content all to the high end. The advantages of confined chemistry result in higher creep strength and stress rupture performance.

Grade 1.4529 is a high alloy stainless steel of austenitic structure and can be classified as a nickel alloy (by US standards). Delivered in a supersaturated condition, it exhibits resistance to intergranular corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion, salt, seawater, chlorides, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and other highly concentrated liquid and gaseous corrosive chemicals. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen can not only improve the stability, but also reduce the tendency of separation of crystallization thermal process or welding process is better than the nitrogen content of nickel alloy. 926 has some corrosion resistance to chloride ions due to its localized corrosion characteristics and 25% nickel alloy content.

Both alloys have the same chemical composition as Alloy 800 plate (UNS N08800), but the carbon content is higher in both grades – (0.05 – 0.10%) in Alloy 800H and (0.06 in Alloy 800H) – 0.10% ) 800HT board.

ASTM B472 UNS N08020 Flanges Alloy 20 flanges provide good performance in hot sulfuric acid, specifically they offer good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in boiling sulfuric acid at specific range of 20% to 40% concentration, as well as general sulfuric acid resistance.

Alloy 800H Welded Pipes (also known as WNR 1.4958 Welded Pipe). Chemical and petrochemical processing industries use these UNS N08810 Welded Pipes for heat exchangers and other piping systems in nitric acid media especially where resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is required. Power plants use them for super-heater and re-heater tubing.

Incoloy 800 round bars contain up to 35% nickel, up to 23% chromium and up to 39.5% iron. Incoloy 800 alloy round bars also contain carbon, molybdenum and silicon content. Incoloy 800 threaded rods can be used effectively at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius.

Both materials remain available, subject to commercial considerations, and certain specifications which restrict the service temperature of some grades of INCOLOY alloy 800H.

INCOLOY 800H is widely used in Power generation, superheater and reheater tubing have also employed the material. Heat treatment retorts, muffles jigs and fixtures have also used this material to great effect.

Inconel 725 Nuts, also known as UNS N07725 Nuts, are highly corrosion resistant and age hardenable for extreme strength. It is used in a wide range of severely corrosive environments. Age hardened Alloy 725 nuts are twice as strong as annealed Alloy 625. Inconel 725 Hex Nuts are an excellent choice for the petrochemical and process industries. They are also commonly used in marine applications where high strength fasteners that resist seawater corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion are required.
