Alloy 725 (UNS N07725) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy that is highly corrosion resistant and age hardened to twice the strength of annealed alloy 625. The strength of Alloy 725 is increased by heat treatment rather than cold treatment. This also gives strength to large uneven parts that cannot be strengthened by cold work. Alloy 725 is used for hangers, landing joints and high strength fasteners in marine applications.
