These Hastelloy B2 are a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy with significant resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. Molybdenum is a major alloying element that provides significant corrosion resistance in reducing environments.

Inconel 625 is a high performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for its high strength, temperature and corrosion resistance. This superalloy is primarily composed of nickel (at least 58%), followed by chromium, molybdenum, niobium, iron, tantalum, cobalt, and trace amounts of manganese, silicon, aluminum, and titanium.

At elevated temperatures the annealed and solution annealed alloy shows good resistance to scaling and has high strength. The alloy also resists ammonia bearing atmospheres, as well as nitrogen and carburizing gases.

Alloy 600 (UNS N06600) is a nickel-based alloy with excellent carburization and good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. This alloy has long been used in the heat treatment industry for the same applications as RA330. Alloy 600 has useful resistance to dry Cl2 and HCl gases at moderately elevated temperatures. Due to the elevated nickel content, alloy 600 is not recommended for use in red hot conditions when sulfur is present.

Inconel 625 Bars For excellent machinability, these bars are equipped with low cutting speeds, heavy equipment, ample coolant, rigid workpieces and tooling. One thing to keep in mind about these bars is that it does work harden quickly, so intermediate annealing can be used for complex part forming operations.

Inconel 625 material has excellent strength and hardness. They have a minimum tensile strength of 120Ksi and a minimum yield strength of 60ksi. In addition to that, they can easily be stretched up to 30% and still have excellent workability.
