It also exhibits extremely high tensile, yield and creep rupture properties at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for long-term use from low temperatures to 1200¡ãF. One of the defining features of the composition of B637 UNS N07718 is the addition of niobium to allow age hardening, which facilitates welding and annealing without unforced hardening during heating and cooling.

Inconel 718 fasteners have been used in environments from -400o F (-250o C) to 1300o F (700o C). Typical applications include gas turbine parts and cryogenic storage tanks.

The material has an ultimate tensile strength of 1375 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 1100 MPa.

In more severe corrosive environments, the combination of nickel and chromium provides resistance to oxidizing chemicals, while high nickel and molybdenum contents provide resistance to non-oxidizing environments.

Inconel reductants are unique blends of nickel, molybdenum and chromium content with niobium content. It provides excellent corrosion resistance in chloride-containing environments.

Alloy 31 is a nitrogen-added iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, and we can supply alloy 31 wrought material to ASTM B637.
