Inconel 718 flanges are highly resistant to water corrosion and can only be hardened and strengthened by cold work. Inconel 718 flanges are also highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking.

Inconel 718 (also known as UNS N07718) is a precipitation hardening nickel superalloy with excellent corrosion resistance and strength as well as high weldability.

Inconel 725 bolts are an alloy of nickel, cobalt and niobium that is corrosion resistant, hardenable and extremely strong. The strength of this alloy is increased by heat treatment for high toughness and ductility.

Astm B564 Uns N06601 Flanges Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy used for applications that require resistance to corrosion and heat. This nickel alloy stands out due to its resistance to high temperature oxidation, remaining highly resistant to oxidation through 2200¡ã F. Alloy 601 develops a tightly adherent oxide scale which resists spalling even under conditions of severe thermal cycling.

By itself, nickel has great heat resistance properties, but when alloyed with other elements, it gains many properties, just like in the case of the Inconel 600 Flanges.

ASTM B637 UNS N07718 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy designed to eliminate a wide range of severe corrosion conditions, pitting and crevice corrosion. It also exhibits extremely high tensile, yield and creep rupture properties at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for long-term use from low temperatures to 1200¡ãF. One of the defining features of the composition of B637 UNS N07718 is the addition of niobium to allow age hardening, which facilitates welding and annealing without unforced hardening during heating and cooling.

INCONEL nickel-chromium alloy 625 (UNS N06625/W.Nr. 2.4856) is used for its high strength, excellent fabricability (including joining), and outstanding corrosion resistance.

High temperature applications exist due to the thick and stable passivating oxide layer formed when Inconel 718 is heated. ANSI B16.47 Inconel 718 flanges are vital to the food, beverage and food processing and textile industries, primarily to create waterproofing systems during pipeline evaluation.

This nickel alloy is used from cryogenic temperatures up to long term service at 1200¡ã F.

The versatility of INCONEL alloy 600 has led to its use in a variety of applications involving temperatures from cryogenic to above 2000¡ãF (1095¡ãC).

Inconel is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that can only be strengthened by cold working. Due to its high nickel content, this alloy is highly resistant to many inorganic and organic compounds and is virtually immune to chloride ion stress/corrosion cracking.

In oxidizing conditions, INCONEL 600 has better corrosion resistance than Alloy 200 and Alloy 201.

Alloy 718 is a precipitation hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing large amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum, and small amounts of aluminum and titanium. It is sometimes called a “super alloy”.

The material is denser than the ordinary stainless steels and has 1411 degrees Celsius melting point. These flanges belong to the ASTM B564 specification and the standards are ASME, ASTM, DIN and other international standards such as ASME B16.5, B16.47 and so on.

Nickel alloy 601 rods consist of 58-63% nickel. Inconel is a general purpose nickel-chromium-iron alloy. It is popular as an engineering alloy and 601 is best suited for applications requiring heat and corrosion resistance.

Astm B564 Uns N06601 Flanges Inconel 601 Flanges are made up of a nickel chromium alloy. The material grads range differently with the composition ratio. The 601 grade has 58% nickel, 21% chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper and iron in the composition. There are different types such as socket weld flanges, welded neck flanges, Inconel 601 Slip On Flanges, orifice flanges and so on. The flanges made of this material are strong, corrosion resistant to acids, reducing agents and oxidation and are also harder.

Alloy 600 has good hot and cold workability in the annealed condition. Hot-working should be done above 1600¡ãF (871¡ãC) to ensure adequate ductility, while cold work should be performed below 1200¡ãF (649¡ãC).
