Incoloy 800 bolts are best suited for applications that require stable construction and good strength over prolonged exposure to high temperatures. These bolts are used in a variety of industries involving corrosive environments and high temperatures. The Incoloy 800 series of nickel alloys includes Incoloy 800, 800H and 800HT. All of this is the same except for the higher carbon content in the 800H alloy and the addition of about 1.20% aluminum and titanium to the 800HT. Incoloy 800H offers improved stress rupture properties over 800. Incoloy 800HT improves this further to ensure optimum high temperature performance.

Alloy 20 Socket screws contain a hexagonal socket, or internal drive, in the head. The way to tell if a screw is a socket screw is by the tool required to tighten and loosen it. The general rule of thumb is simple: if you need an allen or hex key, or a special internal wrenching drive, then it can be classed as a socket screw.

Alloy 20 washers provide good performance in hot sulfuric acid, specifically they offer good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in boiling sulfuric acid at specific range of 20% to 40% concentration, as well as general sulfuric acid resistance. Alloy 20 offers solid acid protection and will perform better than Duplex or even Monel, but for high temperature and high concentration acids, you may need to look to Inconel or Hastelloy fasteners. In addition, Alloy 20 washers also show useful resistance to phosphoric acid and nitric acid.

Inconel 625 is an austenitic nickel-based superalloy. High levels of molybdenum and niobium strengthen the chrome-nickel matrix of alloy 625 screws. Inconel 625 Bolts are fasteners made from a nickel-based alloy containing chromium and molybdenum, with additions of aluminum and titanium.

INCOLOY 800/800H/800HT is a family of high nickel superalloys commonly used in the petrochemical processing industry. INCOLOY 800HT is similar to INCOLOY 800/800H, but with improved creep rupture strength. All of these alloys have high corrosion resistance. At higher temperatures, Incoloy 800 fasteners provide resistance to vulcanization, carburization and oxidation, as well as fracture and creep strength. Incoloy 800 bolts are a solid solution austenitic alloy. Appearing in the microstructure of Incoloy 800 are chromium carbide, titanium carbide and titanium nitride. Incoloy 800H Hex Head Bolts are easy to machine using standard methods. Thermoforming of Incoloy 800 is done in the temperature range of 870 to 1200 ¡ãC (1600 to 2200 ¡ãF). Incoloy 800 screws are used in power plants.

Inconel 600 fasteners are made of Inconel. Different grades of Inconel have different compositions. ASTM B166 Inconel 600 Stud Bolts are made from an alloy with 72% Nickel, 14% Chromium, and 6% Iron, which also contains Carbon, Silicon, Manganese, Sulfur, and Copper.

Monel bolts, like Monel 400 and K500, are made from a nickel-copper alloy and exhibit high strength, toughness and good corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range.

Alloy 926 is a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with excellent resistance to a variety of highly corrosive environments. The combination of molybdenum and nitrogen in its composition resists pitting and crevice corrosion, while copper improves sulfuric acid resistance, while nitrogen increases yield and tensile strength.

Hastelloy C276 material is designed with good mechanical properties. They have a minimum tensile strength of 601Mpa and a minimum yield strength of 204Mpa. This material makes the alloy easy to machine and elongate.

Hastelloy C276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents (such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride), hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and seawater and saline solution. In fact, these Hastelloy c276 fasteners can be used in oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF. Additionally, Hastelloy c276 hex bolts tend to perform extremely well in high pressure environments. For example, ASTM B574 bolts perform well at pressures around 5400 kPa during acid leaching.

Incoloy 825 fasteners were an integral part of our original product line. In addition to good corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, Duplex 2205 Hex Bolts also have high surface toughness. This and the passive oxide layer formed by the addition of chromium is the reason why 2205 duplex stainless steel fasteners are used in the marine industry.

Inconel 600 Bolts can also be easily formed, machined and welded. The minimum tensile strength of fasteners can reach 825MPa, and the minimum yield strength can reach 620MPa. The strongest are cold-worked round fasteners.

INCONEL alloy C-276 (UNS N10276/W.Nr. 2.4819) is known for its corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive media.

Hastelloy G30 is a combination of nickel, chromium, iron, cobalt, molybdenum, tungsten and manganese. Hastelloy G30 is primarily used to provide high resistance to chemical conditions. Hastelloy G30 is a high performance alloy with surface stability at high temperatures. In the welded form, the corrosion resistance is also carried over. Hastelloy G30 fasteners are highly ductile. Hastelloy G30 resists deformation at high temperatures. Hastelloy G30 is used in applications requiring high corrosion and deformation resistance. Using cold working, these fasteners are hardened. These fasteners have high oxidation resistance.

Alloy 718 fasteners are a major hardware element almost everywhere, whether it’s home appliances, machinery, automobiles, buildings, infrastructure, or any other item that needs to be assembled, there will definitely be fasteners to hold them all together.

Therefore, they can be used in chemical acid production plants and food production plants. There are different types such as ASTM F2281 UNS N02200 Ni 200 screws, hex bolts, socket head cap screws, hex nuts, washers, screws, studs and U-bolts. Fastener specification is ASTM B160. 2.4066 Nickel 200 Stud Bolts are composed of up to 99% Nickel, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Carbon, Silicon and Sulfur. ASTM F2281 nickel alloy bolts are expensive, but they are useful in sensitive applications that are susceptible to corrosion. The cost of fasteners is not as important as some chemical processing and food production applications. Nickel 200 UNS N02200 Hex Nuts are one of the most commonly used fasteners due to head geometry and high torque capability.

Incoloy 800H and 800HT are members of the Incoloy 800 family of alloys and have the same chemical composition, but slightly different levels of carbon, titanium and aluminum. We manufacture Incoloy 800/H/HT fasteners with excellent resistance to oxidation, water and reducing environments. Due to their excellent tensile strength and toughness, these fasteners can operate efficiently in high temperature and high pressure environments.

Stronger than 400, alloy K500 washer even retains this strength in corrosive. conditions, resisting both pure and salt water, as well as non-oxidizing mineral acids, salts, alkalis, and sour gas.

Hex bolts are used to fasten two or more parts together to form an assembly either because it cannot be manufactured as a single part or to allow for maintenance and repair disassembly. By definition “A Bolt is a headed and externally threaded mechanical device designed for insertion through holes in assembled parts to mate with a nut and is normally intended to be tightened or released by turning that nut.” When used with a preformed internally threaded (tapped) hole, the hex bolt’s head is turned to tighten, which technically makes it a screw (see our Tech Data section for a discussion regarding the differences between bolts and screws). Hex bolts are also known as: hex head bolts, cap screws, hex cap screws, hex head cap screws, machine bolts, hex machine bolts, hex head machine bolts and, if fully threaded, tap bolts, hex tap bolts and hex head tap bolts. A hex bolt is often differentiated from a hex cap screw by its underhead bearing surface: if it has a circular boss, called a washer face, it’s a hex cap screw¡ªif it doesn’t then it’s a hex bolt.

Applications in air pollution control include stack liners, ducts, dampers, scrubbers, stack-gas re-heaters, fans and fan housings.

Alloy C276 is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum alloy. Hastelloy C276 is designed for excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance in a variety of environments. These alloys also show resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Monel 400 is an alloy of nickel and copper, which means that these components exhibit properties reminiscent of nickel and copper-based alloys. Monel 400 is versatile and can be used for both acid and alkali resistance. Seawater applications are common. One variant is Alloy 405 (UNS N04405). It contains slightly more sulfur, which improves machinability.

Hastelloy C22 fasteners are a general-purpose grade composed of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and tungsten alloys. These designs are designed to increase resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking (SSC) and crevice corrosion cracking. It has high chromium content and good resistance to oxidizing media. The presence of molybdenum and tungsten provides good resistance to reducing media. Its nickel content provides admirable resistance to oxidizing aqueous media.

Monel K500 fasteners also have some excellent seawater resistance for marine applications. Monel fasteners also have some high-strength metals that have good toughness at high temperatures.

Inconel 926 bolt material meets ASTM B446, B564, F467, F468, UNS N06926, DIN EN 2.4856, AMS 5666 and BS 3076 specifications and is adequate for high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature applications up to 1000o C (1800o F).

It is well known that Hastelloy c22/C276 fasteners have good dimensional accuracy, corrosion resistance, durability, high durability, high flexibility, strong structure, high tensile strength and other characteristics. In addition, fasteners are resistant to wear in high temperature atmospheres and corrosive environments. Some of the environments in which these fasteners exhibit resistance are oxidizing media, reducing media, chloride environments, and sulfur environments. They are resistant to attack by chemicals such as nitric acid, chlorine, sulfur, acetic acid, organic, inorganic, phosphorus, etc.

Monel K500 nuts are a result of an age hardening process where aluminum and titanium are added to the nickel-copper base and then precipitated throughout the matrix.
