Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Because of its versatility, and because it is a standard engineering material for applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance, many different critical industries use Nickel Alloy 600 in their applications.

Alloy 600 is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties and a combination of high strength and good machinability, and is easy to weld. Inconel 600 has the cold forming properties typically associated with chrome-nickel stainless steels.

Inconel 600 bar is high temperature heat resistant. Inconel Alloy 625 round bars have up to 58% nickel and up to 23% chromium. Inconel 625 bar is primarily used in chemical processing applications.

During natural gas processing, several common contaminants, such as water, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide, come into contact with equipment components, including alloy 600 studs.
