Monel K500 fasteners are precipitation hardenable nickel and copper based alloy fasteners. These fasteners were developed for excellent corrosion resistance and have high hardness and strength. ALLOYK500 is a nickel-copper alloy that is age-hardened by the addition of aluminum and titanium alloys.

Inconel 625 is a nickel-based super alloy with high strength properties and resistance to corrosion, including H2S and CO2, and elevated temperatures.

Incoloy A-286 is an age-hardenable iron-nickel-chromium alloy designed for applications requiring high strength and good corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 700¡ãC (1290¡ãF). Like other specialty materials in the Inconel family, Incoloy A-286 fasteners have excellent corrosion resistance and can be made into a variety of fasteners including hex bolts, washers, nuts and studs.

The Monel 400 alloy is also known as super alloy monel. This alloy is available in some standard shapes such as hexagon, round, tube, pipe, plate, strip, sheet and wire.

Bolts and Nuts fall under the ASTM B166 specification for hot and cold work Inconel 600 bar, bar bolts and nuts. Standards vary from DIN, ASTM, BS and all other international standards. Inconel 600 fasteners can vary in length from custom lengths and 3mm to 200mm, and also in sizes from M3 to M56 and 3/6″ to 2″. There are different types of bolts and nuts in Alloy 600 Fasteners such as T-Nuts, Panel Nuts, Coupling Nuts and Lag and Hex Bolts.

A threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used in tension. Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread.

Inconel 718 alloy is used in large quantities in extreme environments, such as high-speed airframe components, cryogenic storage components, nuclear reactors, chemical processing, and gas turbine engine components.

Inconel 625 is a high performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for its high strength, temperature and corrosion resistance. This superalloy is primarily composed of nickel (at least 58%), followed by chromium, molybdenum, niobium, iron, tantalum, cobalt, and trace amounts of manganese, silicon, aluminum, and titanium.

The Stud Bolt is a threaded rod with 2 heavy hexagon nuts, while the Hex Bolt has a head with one nut. Nuts and head are both six sided. Bolts threading are defined in ASME B1.1 Unified Inch Screw Threads, (UN and UNR Thread Form). The most common thread is a symmetrical form with a V-profile. The included angle is 60¡ã. This form is widely used in the Unified thread (UN, UNC, UNF, UNRC, UNRF) form as the ISO / metric threads.

Inconel 718 Nuts, also known as Alloy 718, are a precipitation hardening (also known as age hardening) form of Inconel 625. This heating and quenching process is used to change the atomic structure of the alloy, making it stronger by locking the metal’s grain structure in place. Additional strength can be obtained by cold working.

This alloy also displays good heat resistance and freedom from aging or stress corrosion throughout the annealed to heavily cold worked condition range.

Hastelloy c22 fasteners are also resistant to wear in high temperature atmospheres and corrosive environments. Some of the environments in which these fasteners exhibit resistance are oxidizing media, reducing media, chloride environments, and sulfur environments. They are resistant to attack by chemicals such as nitric acid, chlorine, sulfur, acetic acid, organic, inorganic, phosphorus, etc.

Nimonic 80a Nuts are low creep superalloy fasteners made from alloys containing over 50% nickel, 20% chromium, and additions of titanium and aluminum. Nimonic Alloy 80a fasteners can withstand very high temperatures.

Incoloy 825 hex nuts are known for their tight tolerances and precise dimensions. Incoloy 825 Heavy Duty Hex Nuts offer excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion. These Incoloy 825 nuts have good mechanical properties from low to moderately high temperatures. However, exposure of these alloy 825 nuts to temperatures above 1000¡ãF results in microstructural changes that significantly reduce ductility and impact strength.

Hastelloy C22 fasteners are a general-purpose grade composed of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and tungsten alloys. These designs are designed to increase resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking (SSC) and crevice corrosion cracking. It has high chromium content and good resistance to oxidizing media. Alloy A286 is a precipitation hardening combining high strength and good corrosion resistance, austenitic stainless steel designed for temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (704¡ãC) where high tensile strength, excellent creep strength is required and good corrosion resistance. Incoloy Alloy A286 is an iron-nickel-chromium based austenitic iron based material with additions of molybdenum and titanium. Cres A286 alloy is known for its good strength and oxidation resistance, especially at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (700¡ãC).

Hastelloy X is extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. All product forms are excellent in forming and welding.

Also known as Alloy 625, Inconel 625 hex bolts are known for their ability to retain their strength and resist heat ¨C both in and out of corrosive environments. The presence of nickel and chromium make Inconel 625 hex bolts corrosion, oxidation and carburization resistant. The molybdenum delivers excellent fatigue strength and resistance to stress, pitting and crevice corrosion cracking even when exposed to chloride ions.

Known as a heat-resistant alloy, Inconel 825 has excellent properties. The most interesting properties of Incoloy 825 fasteners are their high creep resistance and high mechanical strength despite prolonged exposure to heat. The importance of these attributes in particular is considered critical across multiple industries. Therefore, the use of ASTM B425 UNS N08825 bolts is often associated with industries such as pollution control equipment, oil well and gas gathering, and chemical processing.

Hex bolts are used to fasten two or more parts together to form an assembly either because it cannot be manufactured as a single part or to allow for maintenance and repair disassembly. By definition “A Bolt is a headed and externally threaded mechanical device designed for insertion through holes in assembled parts to mate with a nut and is normally intended to be tightened or released by turning that nut.” When used with a preformed internally threaded (tapped) hole, the hex bolt’s head is turned to tighten, which technically makes it a screw (see our Tech Data section for a discussion regarding the differences between bolts and screws). Hex bolts are also known as: hex head bolts, cap screws, hex cap screws, hex head cap screws, machine bolts, hex machine bolts, hex head machine bolts and, if fully threaded, tap bolts, hex tap bolts and hex head tap bolts. A hex bolt is often differentiated from a hex cap screw by its underhead bearing surface: if it has a circular boss, called a washer face, it’s a hex cap screw¡ªif it doesn’t then it’s a hex bolt.

Inconel 625 bolts are primarily used in circulating cooling and heating applications. They can be used in resistance welding applications. Alloy31 is a nitrogen-added iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. This alloy fills the gap between special alloys austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys. Alloy 31 has been proven in the chemical and petrochemical industries, ore extractors, environmental and marine engineering, and oil and gas production.

Hastelloy C-276 is a very popular alloy for us because of its high corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments. It has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine and mixtures of oxidizing acids containing nitric or chloride ions.

Because of its versatility, and because it is a standard engineering material for applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance, many different critical industries use Nickel Alloy 600 in their applications.

Alloy 600 is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties and a combination of high strength and good machinability, and is easy to weld. Inconel 600 has the cold forming properties typically associated with chrome-nickel stainless steels.

Inconel 625 is a solid solution strengthened Ni-base superalloy, which has high strength at high temperatures.

Inconel 600 bolts are optimized for the harshest service conditions in manufacturing.

Monel alloys are a group of alloys consisting mainly of nickel and copper with trace amounts of iron, manganese, carbon and silicon. ASTM B865-04 K500 Monel Fastener is a precipitation-hardening nickel-copper alloy. One of the advantages of using alloy UNS N05500 bolts is that the alloy combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 alloy with the additional properties of increased tensile strength and hardness.

Inconel 718 hex bolts are precipitation hardened bolts made from an alloy containing nickel as a base element, chromium and molybdenum, with additions of aluminum, titanium and cobalt. This alloy combines corrosion resistance and high strength with excellent weldability, including resistance to post-weld cracking. Inconel 718 has excellent creep rupture strength at elevated temperatures. Inconel 718 fasteners have been used in gas turbines, rocket engines, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps and tools.

Inconel 600 flat washers are also non-magnetic and offer the perfect combination of high strength, hot and cold workability, and resistance to common forms of corrosion. Inconel Alloy 600 ferrules exhibit excellent toughness even at sub-zero temperatures and are suitable for use with most alkaline solutions and sulfides. To avoid stress corrosion cracking, Alloy 600 split washers are manufactured to be fully stress relieved prior to use.
