Nickel-based Hastelloy B2 In addition to nickel, the chemical composition also contains molybdenum as its main alloying component. Hastelloy B2 fasteners are known to have significant corrosion resistance in reducing environments or media such as hydrogen chloride gas, as well as in acidic media such as sulfuric, acetic and phosphoric acid. Meanwhile, these Hastelloy B2 bolts are basically nickel-based bolts. Like nickel, molybdenum is one of the essential elements in its chemical composition. These Hastelloy B2 bolts provide excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of adverse environments. The alloy also has good resistance to various acidic bonding environments such as sulfuric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acid.
