The Corrosion Resistant HASTELLOY alloys are widely used by the chemical processing industries. The need for reliable performance leads to their acceptance and growth in the areas of energy, health and environmental, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization industries.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

UNS N10276 Sheets has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, pressure corrosion cracking and a far higher resistance to crevice corrosion than steels of alloy.

These flanges are usually welded or screwed. In those instances where welding or bolting the flange is not possible, many industries prefer using WNR 2.4602 Threaded Flanges.

Like other nickel alloys, HASTELLOY C-22 alloy is fairly ductile, has excellent weldability, and is easily fabricated into industrial parts. It is available in sheet, sheet, strip, billet, bar, wire, tube and tube. Typical applications may include: reactors, heat exchangers and columns.

Hastelloy C-276 alloy excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, and hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic).

Available in various forms, the material is known to be very versatile. The basic chemical makeup of a Hastelloy C276 seamless Pipe includes Nickel, chromium, and molybdenum in its alloy. The trio elements in this wrought alloy are what gives the Hastelloy C276 welded Pipe its high mechanical properties in addition to its excellent corrosion resistance properties.

Hastelloy C22 washers are composed of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that, like other high-nickel alloys, is highly ductile, making it easy to machine, weld, and fabricate into nuts, bolts, and screws. Hastelloy C-22 washers are made of Haynes International trademark alloy, also known as UNS N06022 or alloy 22 fasteners. C-22 fasteners are made from one of the more popular Hastelloy alloys. It is highly resistant to oxidizing/non-oxidizing chemicals, making it an excellent alloy for columns, heat exchangers and reactors in the chemical processing industry.

This nickel steel alloy also has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media including wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid or oxidizing acids with chlorine ions.

They combine the outstanding resistance to the oxidizing medium of Hastelloy C276 with superior resistance to non-oxidizing situations.

Hastelloy X alloy fasteners are precisely engineered by our experts to ensure the finest steel is used in industrial processes. Because of its unfamiliar resistance to reducing, neutral and oxidizing environments. Hastelloy X alloy fasteners have also been found to have significant SCC resistance in petrochemical functions. The best feature of Hastelloy C22 threaded flanges is that it has the best resistance to oxidizing aqueous media and a wide range of chemical process environments, including oxidizers like ferric acids, seawater, and chloride solution.

Hastelloy C276 SB575 4mm Thick Plate is by far the most commonly used alloy in different industries.

They have good creep and oxidation resistance. Strengthening of super alloys is performed by solid-solution hardening, work hardening, and precipitation hardening methods.

C22 nickel alloy fasteners offer better overall corrosion resistance than its sister alloy Hastelloy C-276, and more specifically, it offers better protection when used in certain saturated wet chlorine environments. Additionally, its high chromium content provides C22 fasteners with better resistance to oxidative media than C276. This makes it excellent resistance to chloride-induced pitting, although in most cases C-276 fasteners are a more cost-effective option due to their availability, especially in sizes smaller than 1/ 2″ case.

Hastelloy Alloy B2 Pipes is known for its excellent chemical resistance, suited to high pressure and high temperature applications.

The material is resistant to chlorides and acids so that the primary uses are in the acid processing, chemical, sea water and marine applications.

In the case of Hastelloy-C276, the corrosion product was primarily a protective chromium oxide scale, although slightly thicker regions of the same oxide formed at the site of microcracks on the metal surface. Very little carburization was observed in this alloy before exposure for at least 1000 hours.

These salts may develop when hydrochloric acid comes in contact with iron and copper. Therefore, if this alloy is used in conjunction with iron or copper piping in a system containing hydrochloric acid, the presence of these salts could cause the alloy to fail prematurely.

Hastelloy C22 bar contains a high amount of nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy as well as tungsten and is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments. It is very resistant to corrosion in immersion environments and is used for chemical applications in the as-welded state.

Hastelloy B2 EFW Pipes is highly resistant to all concentrations and temperatures of hydrochloric acid.

Alloy C276 Forged Flange Hastelloy C276 Flanges are made up of the nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that is called hastelloy. The composition includes 50.99% nickel, 14.5% chromium, 15% molybdenum and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, iron and phosphorus in it. The Hastelloy C276 Flanges have high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. This high melting point allows for higher operating temperatures of the flanges. The material also has 790MPa minimum tensile strength and 355MPa minimum yield strength.

C22 can be hot worked or cold worked. However, C22 work-hardens rapidly. Therefore, cold working must often be performed in stages with intervening anneals. Parts should be annealed after cold working.

These Hastelloy B2 Weld Neck Flanges should not be used in oxidizing media or where oxidizing contaminants are available in reducing media.

Hastelloy B3 studs are suitable for all applications that previously required the use of Hastelloy B2 alloy. Due to the enhanced thermal stability of Hastelloy B3 square bolts, the problems associated with manufacturing Hastelloy B2 parts are reduced.

Hastelloy B2 fasteners are primarily used for excellent resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. Like other Hastelloys, B2 fasteners can be used in the as-welded condition because they resist the formation of grain boundary carbide deposits in the weld heat-affected zone. Due to reduced ductility, B2 fasteners are not recommended for use between 1000¡ãF and 1600¡ãF.

Incoloy alloy is applied as the prefix name to several highly corrosion resistant high temperature strength metal alloys produced by Special Metals Corporation.
