The Corrosion Resistant HASTELLOY alloys are widely used by the chemical processing industries. The need for reliable performance leads to their acceptance and growth in the areas of energy, health and environmental, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization industries.

Alloy N10675 is a high corrosion resistant nickel molybdenum Alloy. This alloy is characterized by a high resistance against hydrochloric acid and other reducing media in a wide range of temperature and concentration.

Hastelloy C22, also known as Alloy C22, is a general-purpose austenitic grade alloy. The primary alloy materials used in Hastelloy C22 fasteners include metals such as nickel, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten. The main characteristic or characteristic of Hastelloy WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4602 Bolts are their enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-related corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy B2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with significant resistance to reducing environments, such as hydrogen chloride gas and sulfuric, acetic and phosphoric acids.

C276 is forged between 2250/1750oF (1230/955oC) and then soaked at the forging temperature for 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging should begin immediately, the billet is removed from the reheat furnace, a 25/40% reduction helps retain as much internal heat as possible. Hastelloy C-2000 Fastener, also known by many as Alloy C-2000, is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. The C-2000 fastener (UNS N06200) is unique among other Hastelloy alloys with approximately 1.6% copper added to its chemical composition. These properties make them ideal for applications such as heat exchangers and industrial reactors.

Hastelloy C276 boards can be easily welded using the most traditional processes. In general, 2.4819 Hastelloy C276 Coil does not require post weld heat treatment. Brushing these boards with stainless steel wire after the welding operation usually removes the hot color and likewise creates surface areas that do not require additional pickling.

Alloy B Its popularity has been hindered by its availability. All of these materials are good against reducing acids, but very hard against oxidizing acids. Due to the high molybdenum content, this alloy is relatively expensive than other alloys. At the same time, it has excellent corrosion resistance to medium-concentrated sulfuric acid and various non-oxidizing acids, good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC), and good resistance to various organic acids.

Hastelloy C-276 is the most common corrosion resistant material currently available, but it is not foolproof. Metals should not be exposed to high temperature, strong acid environment. Also, it is easier to work with cold working practices; hot working makes it easier to harden. If hot working, the temperature should be maintained between 1600¡ãF and 2250¡ãF.

HASTELLOY X is a wrought nickel-based alloy with excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. All product forms are excellent in forming and welding. Although HASTELLOY X is primarily known for its heat and oxidation resistance, it also has good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and good carburization, as well as excellent resistance to reducing or carburizing atmospheres. Alloy X is one of the most widely used nickel-based superalloys for gas turbine engine components.

Hastelloy C276 Fastener is a wrought corrosion resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that reduce corrosion resistance. C276 alloy fasteners have good machinability and are used for desulfurization of flue gas equipment and chemical process equipment. Hastelloy C276 bolts are commonly used to hold materials or objects together, or to position objects. A fastener that usually consists of a head on one end and a chamfer on the other. It is typically used in solution treated condition and soaked at 1121¡ãC (2050¡ãF) and then flash quenched.

Plates are designed by continuous rolling and casting or, in most instances, steel is processed into a bullet then hot rolled to be shaped in its final plate thickness. Akin to steel plates, rolled ring forgings are forged in the same process ¨C it differs only in terms of rolling directions.
For cups having comparative large thickness and plates having
complicated cross-sectional shapes, plate forging is more useful than billet forging due to due to
comparatively small change in shape.

It is well known that Hastelloy c22/C276 fasteners have good dimensional accuracy, corrosion resistance, durability, high durability, high flexibility, strong structure, high tensile strength and other characteristics. In addition, fasteners are resistant to wear in high temperature atmospheres and corrosive environments. Some of the environments in which these fasteners exhibit resistance are oxidizing media, reducing media, chloride environments, and sulfur environments. They are resistant to attack by chemicals such as nitric acid, chlorine, sulfur, acetic acid, organic, inorganic, phosphorus, etc.

Hastelloy C276 is an extremely versatile material that has been used in a variety of harsh environments. It exhibits corrosion resistance to chloride-containing media, organic acids, oxidizing media, reducing acids, seawater and brine, and sulphur-containing flue gas. Hastelloy C276 replaces Alloy C (UNS N10002), which has slightly lower chromium and molybdenum contents. The high nickel, molybdenum and tungsten contents make them expensive compared to austenitic stainless steels. It is by far the most popular super alloy.

Alloy X pipe bend is one of the most widely used nickel base superalloys for gas turbine engine components.

Nickel alloys are alloys with nickel as principal element. Complete solid solubility exists between nickel and copper. Forgings are made by forcing materials into customized shapes either by the force of a falling ram upon an anvil or by a die press enclosing a piece of metal and squeeze-forming the part. Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using localized compressive forces.

These Hastelloy Alloy C276 Forgings is used for dissimilar welding applications including other nickel ¨C chromium ¨C molybdenum alloys and stainless steels, and for weld overlay or cladding of steels. The alloy is used in flue gas desulfurization systems. It has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking, and resists wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide. The alloy is also resistant to seawater and brine solutions.

Like many other nickel alloys, it is ductile and easy to form and weld. This alloy is used in most industrial environments where corrosive chemical environments exist and other alloys fail.

Hastelloy C276 sheet and plate in wear resistant stainless steel. It provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in very high temperature environments; its high tensile strength provides extreme thermal stability.

UNS N10665 or W.Nr. 2.4617, Hastelloy B2 (also known as “Alloy B2”), is a solid solution reinforced Ni Mori with low additions of carbon, silicon and iron. It can be used to reduce chemical environment and chemical processing industry. However, Hastelloy B2 should not be used in temperatures from 1000¡ãF to 1600¡ãF and should not be used in oxidizing media.
