Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

Nickel- and cobalt-based corrosion-, temperature- and wear-resistant alloys, such as Hastelloy B2, are classified as moderate to difficult when machined, but it should be emphasized that these alloys can be produced at satisfactory speeds using conventional production methods processing. During machining, these alloys harden rapidly, generate high heat during cutting, weld to the cutting tool surface, and provide high resistance to metal removal due to their high shear strength.

In addition to good corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, Duplex 2205 Hex Bolts also have high surface toughness. This and the passive oxide layer formed by the addition of chromium is the reason why 2205 duplex stainless steel fasteners are used in the marine industry.

Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to which the austenitic stainless steels are prone).

Hastelloy C276 Flanges are made up of the nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that is called hastelloy. The composition includes 50.99% nickel, 14.5% chromium, 15% molybdenum and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, iron and phosphorus in it.

Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments.Alloy C-276 is one of the most universally corrosion resistant alloys available today. Hastelloy Nickel Alloy B2 is a very chemically resistant alloy with high resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking in the heat affected zone. In particular, this alloy performs well in harsh environments such as sulfuric acid, hydrogen chloride and phosphoric acid. The flange is second most used joining method after selding. Flanges are used when joints need dismantling. It provides flexibility for maintenance. Hastelloy B2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with significant resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas and sulfuric, acetic and phosphoric acids. Hastelloy B2 is resistant to pure sulfuric acid and many non-oxidizing acids. This alloy should not be used in the presence of oxidative contaminants in oxidizing or reducing media. Premature failure may occur if Alloy B2 is used in the presence of iron or copper in systems containing hydrochloric acid.

The Hastelloy UNS N10665 Pipe Flanges come under the ANSI, ASTM, DIN and other international standards with various dimensions and pressure classes.

The alloy is forged between 2250/1750oF (1230/955oC) and then soaked at the forging temperature for 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging should begin immediately, the billet is removed from the reheat furnace, a 25/40% reduction helps retain as much internal heat as possible. For optimum corrosion resistance, forged parts should be subsequently annealed. See Heat Treatment.

Hastelloy B2 prevents the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat affected zone, making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. The heat affected weld zone reduces the precipitation of carbides and other phases to ensure uniform corrosion resistance.
Alloy B2 also has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy C22 fasteners are a general-purpose grade composed of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and tungsten alloys. These designs are designed to increase resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking (SSC) and crevice corrosion cracking. It has high chromium content and good resistance to oxidizing media. The presence of molybdenum and tungsten provides good resistance to reducing media. Its nickel content provides admirable resistance to oxidizing aqueous media.

Hastelloy B3 pipe is significantly resistant to corrosion resistance at reducing atmosphere. Hastelloy B2 pipes are having excellent resistance to non-oxidizing acid and sulphuric acid.

HASTELLOY(r) B-2 is a wrought nickel-molybdenum alloy that can be used in the ¡®as welded¡¯ condition.

Hastelloy B3 bolts are also known as alloy B-3 bolts and can be found under UNS N10675. This alloy is extremely resistant to pure hydrobromic, sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. Many industries, including the chemical industry, consider the alloy easy to machine, and its ductility allows machinists to easily form and even weld.
