The Corrosion Resistant HASTELLOY alloys are widely used by the chemical processing industries. The need for reliable performance leads to their acceptance and growth in the areas of energy, health and environmental, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization industries.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

It demonstrates good resistance to neutral and reducing environments. This alloy creates a tenacious oxide, protective film that does not spall off, but it retains superior oxidation resistance at soaring temperatures.

Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy with excellent general corrosion resistance and good machinability. The alloy should be considered for use in environments requiring resistance to thermally contaminated inorganic acids, organic and inorganic chloride-contaminated media, chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, seawater and brine solutions.

Hastelloy C-276 fasteners and other products in the Hastelloy family have excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidizing and reducing chemicals. Due to its adaptability, Hastelloy C-276 alloy can be used in problem areas and is more likely to occur in process areas. In Hastelloy C276 hex bolts, the chromium content is increased to about 21% and the molybdenum content is reduced to about 13%. Hastelloy C276 Heavy Duty Hex Bolts also provide optimum resistance to environments encountered in reducing and oxidizing conditions in the process stream.

The tungsten element of Hastelloy C276 pipe makes it suitable for this welding, Hastelloy C276 seamless pipe can be easily welded to other objects.

Hastelloy B3 has excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. In addition, it greatly improves structural stability compared to previous B-type alloys, reducing concerns during welding, fabrication and service.

This nickel-molybdenum alloy is typically used under extreme reducing conditions and has a much lower composition of carbon, silicon and iron than Hastelloy B (Alloy B). Screws made from this alloy are also known as UNS N10665 fasteners.

Alloy 22 (UNS N06022) is the most versatile Nickel Chromium Molybdenum Tungsten alloy with controlled Iron. Due to Alloy 22’s content this alloy exhibits excellent resistance to both oxidising and reducing acid environments as well as those containing mixed acids.

G30 alloy can prevent the formation of grain boundary precipitation in the heat affected zone of welding, so its welded products are suitable for various chemical treatment engineering applications.

Hastelloy C276 Plates, which has excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environments. Inconel C276 Plates is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments.

Alloy N10675 is a high corrosion resistant nickel molybdenum Alloy. This alloy is characterized by a high resistance against hydrochloric acid and other reducing media in a wide range of temperature and concentration.

HASTELLOY C276 is not prone to grain boundary precipitation in the as welded condition and therefore suitable for many chemical process applications.

Hastelloy C276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents (such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride), hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and seawater and saline solution. In fact, these Hastelloy c276 fasteners can be used in oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF. Additionally, Hastelloy c276 hex bolts tend to perform extremely well in high pressure environments. For example, ASTM B574 bolts perform well at pressures around 5400 kPa during acid leaching.

This nickel alloy provides excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. In additions, Hastelloy B2 pipe bend has excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking and to knife-line and heat-affected zone attack.

This nickel steel alloy has good resistance to heat affected and knife-line zone attack. This alloy also bears the brunt of formic, sulfuric, phosphoric, acetic acids and various other non-oxidizing media.

Hastelloy X is extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. All product forms are excellent in forming and welding.

Hastelloy C276 flanges are made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy called Hastelloy. The composition includes 50.99% nickel, 14.5% chromium, 15% molybdenum and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, iron and phosphorus. Hastelloy C276 flanges have a high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius.

The sheer variety of pipe bend sizes and materials also make them suitable for routing everything from hot or caustic liquids to maintaining pressure and movement in high viscosity liquids or those with suspended solids, such as Oil Sands slurry lines which contains a high concentration of silica sand.

Hastelloy C2000 fasteners combine the excellent resistance to oxidizing media of C276 with excellent resistance to non-oxidizing environments, making it a unique alloy for protecting chemical process equipment under a variety of conditions, including fluids contaminated with iron ions . It is designed to provide greater versatility than other Hastelloy alloys. This is achieved by increasing the content of chromium and molybdenum and adding a small but effective amount of copper (1.6%). The addition of copper increases the temperature capability of C2000 fasteners in sulfuric, hydrofluoric, and dilute hydrochloric acids.

The Molybdenum of Hastelloy B2 pipe bend is the primary alloying element which provides significant corrosion resistance to reducing environments.

Hastelloy C22 Flanges are a technique used by many industries in the connecting of pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment, into what is referred to as a piping system.

It is well known that Hastelloy c22/C276 fasteners have good dimensional accuracy, corrosion resistance, durability, high durability, high flexibility, strong structure, high tensile strength and other characteristics. In addition, fasteners are resistant to wear in high temperature atmospheres and corrosive environments. Hastelloy X is a nickel-based superalloy ideal for gas turbine engine, aircraft, industrial furnace, and chemical processing applications.

Hastelloy C22 threaded flanges have the best weldability.

Hastelloy C276 grade round bars can be used in FGD systems due to their excellent resistance to sulfur-containing compounds and chloride ions encountered in most scrubbers. Alloy C276 Hastelloy bar also has excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting, and the alloy is resistant to stress-related corrosion cracking. Hastelloy C276 N10276 Bright Bar is also one of the few materials that can withstand the corrosive effects of chlorine in the form of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide.

C276 Elbow has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of concentrated hot acids and reducing environments and can be easily used in hot sulfuric and hydrochloric applications.
