Hastelloy C2000 Tubes are used in a broad range of industries including petrochemical processing, chemical processing equipment manufacturing, oil refineries and power plants.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

HASTELLOY X pipe bend is recommended especially for use in furnace applications because it has unusual resistance to oxidizing, reducing, and neutral atmospheres.

Plates are designed by continuous rolling and casting or, in most instances, steel is processed into a bullet then hot rolled to be shaped in its final plate thickness. Akin to steel plates, rolled ring forgings are forged in the same process ¨C it differs only in terms of rolling directions.
For cups having comparative large thickness and plates having
complicated cross-sectional shapes, plate forging is more useful than billet forging due to due to
comparatively small change in shape.

Hastelloy B2 fasteners are primarily used for excellent resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. Like other Hastelloys, B2 fasteners can be used in the as-welded condition because they resist the formation of grain boundary carbide deposits in the weld heat-affected zone. Due to reduced ductility, B2 fasteners are not recommended for use between 1000¡ãF and 1600¡ãF.

Hastelloy C276 Welded Pipe is ideal for chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. By adding tungsten to ASTM B622 UNS N10276 alloy C276 pipe, its corrosion resistance becomes superior.

Hastelloy C-276 resists the formation of grain boundary deposits in the weld heat affected zone, making it a candidate material for most chemical and petrochemical processing applications in the as-welded state. The alloy resists general and localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy X fasteners, also known as UNS N06002 fasteners, have excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. It is very resistant to stress corrosion cracking but has excellent ductility when subjected to 16,00 hours of torture at temperatures up to 1,600F. It is also suitable for furnaces, heaters and many high temperature applications because it is weldable, heat treatable and relatively easy to machine. That’s why we think Hastelloy X fasteners basically offer the best of both worlds – corrosion and heat resistance.

This alloy is exhibiting good corrosion resistance at aggressive reducing media like hydrochloric acid that range of concentrations and temperatures and in medium-concentrated sulphuric acid and with limited chloride contamination.

Alloy C-276 has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking. It is also one of the few materials that can withstand the corrosive effects of wet chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide.

Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments.Alloy C-276 is one of the most universally corrosion resistant alloys available today. It is used in a variety of environments ranging from moderately oxidizing to strong reducing conditions. Alloy C-276 has exceptional resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, chlorides, solvents, wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine solutions.

Hastelloy X alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with excellent oxidation resistance and high temperature strength, while still being easy to manufacture. It has also been found to be extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. This alloy exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure to temperatures of 1200¡ã, 1400¡ã and 1600¡ã (650¡ã, 760¡ã, 870¡ã Celsius) for up to 16,000 hours.

The high chromium content provides good resistance to oxidizing media while the molybdenum and tungsten content give good resistance to reducing media.

Hastelloy’s resistance to sulfuric acid makes it a common choice for protection from hydrogen sulfide (H2S), more commonly known as?sour gas.

Hastelloy B2 Flanges come under the ASTM B564 specification with sizes ranging from ? inches to 60 inches under different standards.

Hastelloy C276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents (such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride), hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and seawater and saline solution. In fact, these Hastelloy c276 fasteners can be used in oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF. Additionally, Hastelloy c276 hex bolts tend to perform extremely well in high pressure environments. For example, ASTM B574 bolts perform well at pressures around 5400 kPa during acid leaching.

Hastelloy B3 is molybdenum and nickel alloys family additional member with greater hydrochloric acid resistance at various concentrations and temperatures. It is withstanding formic, sulphuric and phosphoric acid as well as non-oxidizing acids.

Hastelloy fasteners such as bolts, screws, nuts and threaded rods are ideal for use in a variety of moderately to severely corrosive acid environments. The most common grade of Hastelloy fasteners is Hastelloy C276 (2.4819), which is one of the most versatile corrosion-resistant nickel alloys, surpassing Inconel or Monel.
