Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

It demonstrates good resistance to neutral and reducing environments. This alloy creates a tenacious oxide, protective film that does not spall off, but it retains superior oxidation resistance at soaring temperatures.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

C276 is forged between 2250/1750oF (1230/955oC) and then soaked at the forging temperature for 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging should begin immediately, the billet is removed from the reheat furnace, a 25/40% reduction helps retain as much internal heat as possible. Alloy C-22 should not be used in service temperatures above 1250¡ã F due to the formation of detrimental phases which form above this temperature.

UNS N10665 or W.Nr. 2.4617, Hastelloy B2 (also known as “Alloy B2”), is a solid solution reinforced Ni Mori with low additions of carbon, silicon and iron. It can be used to reduce chemical environment and chemical processing industry. However, Hastelloy B2 should not be used in temperatures from 1000¡ãF to 1600¡ãF and should not be used in oxidizing media.

INCONEL alloy C-276 (UNS N10276/W.Nr. 2.4819) is known for its corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive media.

HASTELLOY C276 is a Nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy that is considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy available. This alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process applications in an as welded condition. Alloy C-276 also has excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF. Alloy C-276 has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical environments.

This nickel steel alloy can be used in the as-welded condition because it resists the formation of grain-boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone.

The low carbon minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to maintain resistance to intergranular attack in heat-affected zones of welded joints.

Hastelloy B2 is also known as UNS N10665 that is corrosion resistant and solid solution molybdenum-nickel alloy.

Hastelloy B3 has excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. In addition, it greatly improves structural stability compared to previous B-type alloys, reducing concerns during welding, fabrication and service.

The 2.4819 Alloy C276 Flat Plate is typically used in areas with extreme conditions.

The nickel and molybdenum component of ASTM B575 Hastelloy C-276 Sheets aids in their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing conditions.

Thus these Hastelloy B2 Flanges are considered to be well suited to be used for most chemical process applications in an as-welded condition. Due to lower carbon content in the alloy, there is reduced precipitation of carbides as well as other phases in the heat-affected weld zones, which in turn ensures uniform resistance to corrosion in the flange.

Hastelloy C276 plates are referred to as excessive-alloy steels, which have superb corrosion resistance in assessment with different steels as they include greater chromium.

Hastelloy C-276 fasteners and other products in the Hastelloy family have excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidizing and reducing chemicals. Due to its adaptability, Hastelloy C-276 alloy can be used in problem areas and is more likely to occur in process areas. Hastelloy 276 bolts and fasteners are suitable for most chemical applications in the welded condition. However, it should be noted that in environments where C-276 alloy weld joints are subject to attack, C-22 weld filler material should be considered.

Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion and stress corrosion cracking and better thermal stability than alloy B-2. Hastelloy UNS N10675 fasteners are suitable for aircraft, furnace and chemical process components, honeycomb and gas turbine combustion section components.

Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy. It has excellent oxidation resistance, workability and high temperature strength. It also exhibits good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. It shows very good ductility after prolonged exposure at 1200 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. It has excellent forming and welding properties, and is widely used in furnaces for aircraft and gas turbines.
