Hastelloy C2000 Tubes are used in a broad range of industries including petrochemical processing, chemical processing equipment manufacturing, oil refineries and power plants.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

The fittings can be manufactured from pipe or tube of ASTM B619, B622, B626 UNS N10276, plate, sheet or strip of ASTM B575 UNS N10276, forging or bar of ASTM B564, B462, B472, B574 Gr. N10276. The Hastelloy C-276 fittings are mainly furnished in 3 connection types: butt welding, threaded, socket welding, covering a variety of standard specifications.
Since Alloy C-276 contains a high amount of nickel in its chemical composition, the metal is very ductile. Therefore forming it into various shaped Hastelloy C276 Pipe Fittings becomes very simple. Unlike highly ductile materials that tend to exhibit failure against stress corrosion cracking, on the application of a tensile load, the Alloy C276 Pipe Fittings are able to withstand such levels of stress.

The flanges are produced through different techniques as the ASTM B564 Hastelloy B2 Threaded Flanges, screwed flanges, forged flanges and plate flanges. The threaded flanges are used with threaded pipes and the female threaded flanges connect to the male threaded pipe ends.

Other corrosives Hastelloy C-22 has resistance to are oxidizing acid chlorides, wet chlorine, formic and acetic acids, ferric and cupric chlorides, sea water, brine and many mixed or contaminated chemical solutions, both organic and inorganic.

HASTELLOY(r) C276 is solution heat treated at 1121¡ãC (2050¡ãF) and then rapidly quenched. In the case of forging or hot forming, parts should be solution heat treated prior to use.

C276 Elbow has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of concentrated hot acids and reducing environments and can be easily used in hot sulfuric and hydrochloric applications.

The alloy is forged between 2250/1750oF (1230/955oC) and then soaked at the forging temperature for 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging should begin immediately, the billet is removed from the reheat furnace, a 25/40% reduction helps retain as much internal heat as possible. For optimum corrosion resistance, forged parts should be subsequently annealed. See Heat Treatment.

HASTELLOY C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents such as ferric and copper chlorides, hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and Seawater and brine solutions. Hastelloy B2 prevents the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat affected zone, making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. The heat affected weld zone reduces the precipitation of carbides and other phases to ensure uniform corrosion resistance.
Alloy B2 also has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy C22 bar contains a high amount of nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy as well as tungsten and is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments.
