The Corrosion Resistant HASTELLOY alloys are widely used by the chemical processing industries. The need for reliable performance leads to their acceptance and growth in the areas of energy, health and environmental, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization industries.

Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

It demonstrates good resistance to neutral and reducing environments. This alloy creates a tenacious oxide, protective film that does not spall off, but it retains superior oxidation resistance at soaring temperatures.

Hastelloy C2000 Tubes are used in a broad range of industries including petrochemical processing, chemical processing equipment manufacturing, oil refineries and power plants.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

B2 has significantly lower carbon, silicon and iron compared to its¡¯ predecessor, Alloy B (UNS N10001), making the alloy less susceptible to decreased corrosion resistance in the weld zone, in the as-welded condition.

Hastelloy C276 grade round bars also have good corrosion resistance in seawater and brine solutions. They are also known for their resistance to localized corrosion such as stress-related corrosion cracking and pitting.

Hastelloy G-30 is a high chromium nickel-base alloy which has superior corrosion resistance over most other nickel and iron-base alloys in commercial phosphoric acid as well as many complex environments containing highly oxidizing acids such as nitric/hydrochloric, nitric/hydrofluoric and sulfuric acids.

The material also contains cobalt, tungsten, iron, silicon, manganese, carbon and vanadium in its composition. Due to this special combination, C276 Hastelloy bolts are also very resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Alloy B2 is a highly resistant material to most organic and inorganic acids. It is a reduction resistant material.

NAS NW276 is a Ni Cr Mo alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. In this alloy, carbide precipitation in the heat affected zone (HAZ) is suppressed and corrosion resistance is improved by reducing the contents of C and Si.

Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion and stress corrosion cracking and better thermal stability than alloy B-2. Hastelloy C276 Flanges Hastelloy C276 Flanges are made up of the nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that is called hastelloy. The composition includes 50.99% nickel, 14.5% chromium, 15% molybdenum and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, iron and phosphorus in it. The Hastelloy C276 Flanges have high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. This high melting point allows for higher operating temperatures of the flanges. The material also has 790MPa minimum tensile strength and 355MPa minimum yield strength.

Hastelloy alloy C22 socket weld flanges have excellent resistance to reduce and oxidizing media. It also helps to resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitates in the heat-affected zone.

Hastelloy C276 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizing agents (such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride), hot fouling media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and seawater and saline solution. In fact, these Hastelloy c276 fasteners can be used in oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900¡ãF. Additionally, Hastelloy c276 hex bolts tend to perform extremely well in high pressure environments. For example, ASTM B574 bolts perform well at pressures around 5400 kPa during acid leaching.
