Alloy C276 also resists formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat affected zone making it useful for most chemical processes in the as-welded condition. It has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy B3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with profound resistance to stree-corrosion cracking, pitting, corrosion and thermal stability greater to that of alloy B2.

Hastelloy B2 pipe bend resists the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.
