The Corrosion Resistant HASTELLOY alloys are widely used by the chemical processing industries. The need for reliable performance leads to their acceptance and growth in the areas of energy, health and environmental, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization industries.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

It demonstrates good resistance to neutral and reducing environments. This alloy creates a tenacious oxide, protective film that does not spall off, but it retains superior oxidation resistance at soaring temperatures.

Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

Hastelloy C276 is an extremely versatile material that has been used in a variety of harsh environments. Hastelloy C276 replaces Alloy C (UNS N10002), which has slightly lower chromium and molybdenum contents. The high nickel, molybdenum and tungsten contents make them expensive compared to austenitic stainless steels. It is by far the most popular super alloy.

The primary alloy base materials for Hastelloy C276 include metals such as nickel, molybdenum and chromium. In addition to these three metals, Hastelloy C276 fasteners also have tungsten added. It is well known that the addition of tungsten to superalloys can improve the corrosion resistance of alloys in various harsh environments.

It has also been found to be extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. This alloy exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure to temperatures of 1200¡ã, 1400¡ã and 1600¡ã (650¡ã, 760¡ã, 870¡ã Celsius) for up to 16,000 hours.

C22 can be hot worked or cold worked. However, C22 work-hardens rapidly. Therefore, cold working must often be performed in stages with intervening anneals. Parts should be annealed after cold working.

Hastelloy C276 sheet and plate in wear resistant stainless steel. It provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in very high temperature environments; its high tensile strength provides extreme thermal stability.

Hastelloy X flanges are high-performance chromium-nickel iron molybdenum super alloy flanges that possess superior corrosion resistance consistency and durability.

Hastelloy C-276 fasteners and other products in the Hastelloy family have excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidizing and reducing chemicals. Due to its adaptability, Hastelloy C-276 alloy can be used in problem areas and is more likely to occur in process areas. In Hastelloy C276 hex bolts, the chromium content is increased to about 21% and the molybdenum content is reduced to about 13%. Hastelloy C276 Heavy Duty Hex Bolts also provide optimum resistance to environments encountered in reducing and oxidizing conditions in the process stream.

c276 is highly resistant to most chemicals and corrosive environments. The anti-corrosion and anti-oxidative properties come from the composition of chromium and molybdenum.

The low carbon content in the 2.4819 alloy C276 tube minimizes carbide precipitation. Carbide precipitation is a phenomenon that occurs during welding of various alloy grades.

These alloys of flanges are basically non-magnetic but feature superior higher strength at a temperature range of 1500 degree F. whereas show good oxidation resistance up to 2200 degree F.
