Monel 400 is a flexible nickel (63% minimum) – copper (34% maximum) alloy retaining strength and toughness at low temperatures while still being effective at temperatures around 1000 degrees F.

Monel 400 has high strength and toughness over a wide temperature range and excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. The composition is shown in the Table below.

The corrosion resistance properties of Duplex 2205 Pipe is much better as compared to alloy grade 316.

The yield strength of this material is almost two times that of the usually used austenitic stainless steel grade.

The ASTM A790 Duplex 2205 Pipe produced under this specification are intended to be used for those applications where corrosion resistance is a primary concern.

Duplex 2205 Tube may at times exhibit magnetic behavior because the microstructure of its alloy contains about 50% ferrite.

These tubes have a yield strength between 30 to 60ksi and can be readily elongated by 60-30% in the system.

The Alloy 800H Tube has good machining characteristics as seen in iron-based alloy and they tend to work-harden during the machining process.

These tubes can be readily welded in place following common welding process without requiring a matching filler metal.

A Inconel 800H Seamless Pipe is designed by passing hot steel billets through an extruded metal grade to shape them precisely.
