Inconel UNS N06601 LWN Flanges nconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy used for applications that require resistance to corrosion and heat. This nickel alloy stands out due to its resistance to high temperature oxidation, remaining highly resistant to oxidation through 2200¡ã F. Alloy 601 develops a tightly adherent oxide scale which resists spalling even under conditions of severe thermal cycling.

ASTM B564 Inconel 625 flanges possess a high degree of formability, while demonstrating better weldability in comparison to many other highly alloyed nickel based materials.

Little or no attack occurs at room and elevated temperatures in dry gases, such as chlorine or hydrogen chloride. At temperatures up to 550C in these media, this alloy has been shown to be one of the most resistant of the common alloys.

The nickel content gives it excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions.

Inconel 718 is a molybdenum, chromium and nickel based alloy developed to resist a wide range of severely corrosive atmospheres, crevice corrosion and pitting corrosion.

Inconel 625 also has resistance to various aqueous media causing localized corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and other forms of attack.
