Inconel 718 Nuts, also known as Alloy 718, are a precipitation hardening (also known as age hardening) form of Inconel 625. This heating and quenching process is used to change the atomic structure of the alloy, making it stronger by locking the metal’s grain structure in place. Additional strength can be obtained by cold working.

Its typical corrosion applications include titanium dioxide production (chloride route), perchloroethylene synthesis, vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and magnesium chloride.
