Astm a335 P91 pipe is a seamless pipe for high temperature applications. These pipes are made of ferritic alloy steel. Chemically speaking, a335 P91 welded pipe contains elements such as molybdenum (Mo) and chromium added to the alloy. The tensile strength of sa335 grade P91 pipe increases when molybdenum and chromium are added to the alloy. The tensile strength of a335 grade P91 pipe is 415 Mpa, while its yield strength is 205 Mpa. Pipe elongation ranges from 20% to 30%.

B7 threaded studs and short head bolts are readily available in the market. B7 grade bolts are often used for pipe flange connections. These bolts are usually sold in a normal bare metal finish, but are usually hot-dip galvanized, galvanized, Xylan coated, PTFE coated, or otherwise treated with a corrosion resistant coating.

Higher chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen content results in a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) > 40, providing superior pitting and crevice corrosion capabilities to austenitic and duplex stainless steels in virtually all corrosive media, and critical pitting temperature over 50¡ãC.
