The chemical balance allows the alloy to exhibit excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation and nitriding atmospheres. 800HT will not become embrittled even after long periods of usage in the 1200-1600 deg F range where many stainless steels become brittle. When cold formed extensively the grain size produces a visibly undulated surface called “orange peel”. 800HT can be welded by the common techniques used on stainless steels.

ASTM B564 Inconel 718 Threaded Flange Grade 718 Inconel Flange is the most common grade of the hardenable Inconel. This precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium alloy combines outstanding corrosion resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. The alloy is an about 2x as strong as Inconel grade 625 having excellent creep-rupture strength at temperatures to 1300¡ãF (700¡ãC) and usable up to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC). Inconel grade 718 is often used in gas turbines, rocket motors, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps, and tooling.

Incoloy Alloy 800 Round Rods are used in a wide range of applications such as nitric acid catalyst supports, reformer outlet pigtails and manifolds, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and dampers.

In addition to oxidation, the metal is also resistant to the effects of carburization. As an austenitic stainless steel type, this alloy has some temperature limitations, but has the advantage of varying the carbon content.

ASTM B564 UNS N08825 Flange Incoloy 825 Flanges are one such type of flanges that have outstanding resistance to oxidizing as well as reducing acids. They are fabricated to improve their resistance to corrosion and are clean to weld. They are resistant to chloride pitting and sensitization. Moreover, Alloy 825 Flanges also offer good mechanical features.

Monel bolts, such as Monel 400 and K500, are made of nickel-copper alloys and exhibit high strength, toughness and good corrosion resistance over a wide temperature range. A standout feature of Monel bolts is their excellent resistance to hydrofluoric acid, a particularly difficult acid to handle, at all concentrations up to the boiling point. For hydrofluoric acid applications, Monel bolts are probably the most corrosion resistant of all commonly used specialty alloys.

Chemically, Incoloy fasteners are composed of nickel, iron and chromium as the primary alloy materials. In addition to these elements, trace amounts of molybdenum, copper and titanium are added to the B425 N08825 alloy. Components made from this alloy, including various Inconel 825 bolts and nuts, are less prone to deformation. This is because the alloy has a stable FCC microstructure. Like many conventional austenitic grade stainless steels, Alloy 825 threaded rod has a stable austenitic structure.

Both materials remain available, subject to commercial considerations, and certain specifications which restrict the service temperature of some grades of INCOLOY alloy 800H.

The 800H modification was to control carbon (0.05 to 0.10%) and grain size to (>ASTM 5) to optimize stress rupture properties.

The principle di?erence between alloys 800H and 800HT is the restricted aluminum and titanium content in 800HT, which results in higher creep and stress rupture properties.

Alloy 800 bolts (WNR 1.4876 bolts) resist embrittlement due to nickel-containing sigma-phase precipitation and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It has further modifications to the combined levels of aluminium and titanium (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance. These are called UNS N08800 bolts and are actually for high temperature structural applications. At the same time, the corrosion resistance of these bolts is quite high. We offer these types of alloys in all material grades, sizes and sizes.
