A182 F5 material is an excellent alloy that is hardened only by cold working. It is often used in nuclear energy, medical equipment, chemical energy, etc. These ASTM A182 Grade F5 Flanges gives extraordinary erosion resistance in, for instance, caustic and acidic applications which includes sulphuric and higher chloride environments.

A335 steel pipe can be used in NACE applications at high temperature and high pressure in sour environments, can be used in NACE-MRO 175 Sour Service, ideal for creep rupture applications, can handle high temperatures with very low elasticity.

Grade P11 is known as chrome molybdenum alloy steel. Compared to carbon steel, the properties of this alloy steel are much higher. Typically, alloy steels such as ASTM A335 P11 pipe tend to have much higher element percentages than conventional steels. So take their efficiency to the next level. The alloy composition of the P11 grade consists of chromium and molybdenum, with a chromium percentage of approximately 1.25. The content of molybdenum in the alloy steel P11 seamless pipe is about 0.5%.

ASTM A193 Grade B7 bolts and studs are made from chrome molybdenum steel and are quenched and tempered (heat treated) to achieve the desired mechanical properties (strength). Grade B7 is the most commonly used A193 bolt grade in construction.

ASTM A320 Grade L7 is a material specification for bolts, studs, nuts, and other fasteners designed for high temperature bolting applications. ASTM A320 L7 grades are divided into 4 performance classes, A, B, C, and D, each with different tensile and stress rupture properties. Class 660 fasteners are used to bolt boilers, pressure vessels, pipe flanges and valves for high temperature service.

The flanges also come in B16.5, B16.47 and other standards and dimensions. The Alloy Steel Flange Material can vary according to the chemical composition.

SA 182 Socket Weld Flanges are joined by inserting the pipe into the socket end and applying a fillet weld around the top. This allows for better flow of fluid or gas inside the pipe and smooth holes.
