Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum superalloy designed to resist a variety of severe corrosive environments, crevice corrosion and pitting corrosion. This nickel alloy also exhibits extremely high yield, tensile and creep rupture properties at elevated temperatures. Inconel 718 is intended for long-term use from low temperatures to 1200¡ãF.

Inconel 601 flanges are made of nichrome. Its material grade varies with the composition ratio. The composition of grade 601 is 58% nickel, 21% chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper and iron.
