This nickel alloy was designed for service temperatures from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000¡ã F.It exhibits high strength and is oxidation resistant, and while it cannot be precipitation hardened, cold working of alloy 600 materials can considerably harden them.It is a unique nickel-chromium alloy that is known for its oxidation resistance at higher temperatures.
