NAS NW276 is a Ni Cr Mo alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. In this alloy, carbide precipitation in the heat affected zone (HAZ) is suppressed and corrosion resistance is improved by reducing the contents of C and Si.

The high content of nickel used in the alloying of Inconel 625 welded pipe enables the metal to withstand a wide variety of severe corrosive media containing environments. In mild environments such as the atmosphere, neutral salts, fresh water and sea water, as well as in the presence of alkaline media there is almost no attack on the Inconel 625 stainless steel pipe. In a more severe corrosive environment setting, the combination of nickel and chromium in the inconel 625 clad pipe proves to be quite useful.

The Incoloy 800Ht Pipe is a slight modification to the 800H alloys. In these pipes the combined titanium and aluminum levels allow the pipes to work at slightly higher temperatures than the 800h alloys. Both these alloys can be dual certified and are preferred for use in high-temperature setups.

Hastelloy C-276 is a versatile nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and good machinability. While it does have good oxidation resistance up to 1800¡ãF, Hastelloy C-276 is generally not recommended for high temperature service.
