This feature has made Incoloy 800HT round bars popular in the petrochemical industry. The presence of nickel in the alloy contributes to its resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, which is indeed an essential feature of alloy 800h rods.

Incoloy Alloy 800HT applications have extended from petrochemical processing reformer tubing, to bellows and flare tips in refinery service. In power generation, superheater and reheater tubing has also employed the material.

Incoloy 800H/HT alloy is used for high temperature structural applications. INCOLOY Alloy 800 can be hot worked in the temperature range of 871-1232¡ãC (1600-2250¡ãF).

Alloy 800 bolts (WNR 1.4876 bolts) resist embrittlement due to nickel-containing sigma-phase precipitation and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It has further modifications to the combined levels of aluminium and titanium (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance. These are called UNS N08800 bolts and are actually for high temperature structural applications. At the same time, the corrosion resistance of these bolts is quite high. The nickel content of Alloy 825 makes it resistant to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, and combined with molybdenum and copper, provides substantially improved corrosion resistance in reducing environments when compared to conventional austenitic stainless steels.

800H can not be corroded in many kinds of media. Its higher nickel content made it have good stress corrosion resistance cracking properties in the water corrosion condition. High chromium content made it better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. This alloy can resist nitric acid and organic acid, but it is not so fine in the sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
800H have good corrosion resistance to both oxidation and non-oxidizing salt, but maybe a little pitting in halide, and also excellent properties in the mixture of water, smoke, steam, air and carbon dioxide.

926 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with a chemical composition similar to alloy 904L with 0.2% nitrogen and 6.5% molybdenum. Molybdenum and nitrogen contents significantly improve pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in halide media. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen not only ensure the stability of the metallographic phase, but also reduce the tendency of intergranular segregation during thermal process or welding process better than nitrogen content. Nickel alloy. 926 has exceptional corrosion resistance in chloride ion media due to its excellent localized corrosion resistance and 25% nickel alloy content.

Alloy 718 Flange Grade 718 Inconel Flange is the most common grade of the hardenable Inconel. This precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium alloy combines outstanding corrosion resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. The alloy is an about 2x as strong as Inconel grade 625 having excellent creep-rupture strength at temperatures to 1300¡ãF (700¡ãC) and usable up to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC). Inconel grade 718 is often used in gas turbines, rocket motors, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps, and tooling.

ASTM B564 Uns N06600 Flanges nconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy used for applications that require resistance to corrosion and heat.
