This nickel alloy stands out due to its resistance to high temperature oxidation, remaining highly resistant to oxidation through 2200¡ã F. Its outstanding strength and toughness in temperature ranges from cryogenic temperatures to high temperature up to 2000¡ã F (1093¡ã C) are derived primarily from the solid solution effects of the refractory metals Columbium and molybdenum in a nickel-chromium matrix.

Incone1601 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy, which has good high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent hot and cold processing and welding performance, and has a total resistance below 700 “C.

Nickel chromium alloy 625 has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, high corrosion-fatigue strength, high tensile strength as well as resistance to stress corrosion cracking to chloride ions ¡ª making it an excellent choice for sea-water applications.

The properties of Inconel 601 make it a material with a wide range of uses in thermal processing, chemical processing, pollution control, aerospace and power generation. However, Alloy 601 is not recommended for use in strongly reducing, sulfur-containing environments.
