The lap-joint flanges have the nearly same shape as the socket weld flanges except for the weld gap. Thus, their use in applications that can cause corrosion is advantageous. The alloy is made up of 50-55% nickel+cobalt (with cobalt limited to 1% max) and 17-21% chromium.

Alloy C-276 is also defined as Alloy C276, Inconel C 276 or Hastelloy C, which is a superalloy with a perfect combination of molybdenum, nickel and chromium. Tungsten is added, which is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance even in harsh environments.

This nickel steel alloy is readily fabricated and may be welded in either the annealed or precipitation (age) hardened condition.

Little or no attack occurs at room and elevated temperatures in dry gases, such as chlorine or hydrogen chloride. At temperatures up to 550C in these media, this alloy has been shown to be one of the most resistant of the common alloys.

The combined parts are heat treated with the aim of reducing the induced inner stresses. The heat treatment procedure is performed according to ASME B31.3 standards. Thereafter, the pipe spools must be painted for protection of the surfaces from any corrosion risk.

The corrosion resistance of Monel K-500 is basically the same as Alloy 400, except that in the age hardened condition, Alloy K-500 has a greater tendency to stress corrosion cracking in certain environments. Monel K-500 has been found to be resistant to sour gas environments.

Pipe spool systems are mostly used in power plants and petroleum refineries which requiring intensive piping. These systems include carriage and transport of fluid and gas and these transportation systems need lots of connection parts. In these systems, there is no place for mistakes.

With the addition of nitrogen as a strengthening agent, the alloy can be dual certified as Alloy 317 (UNS S31700).

Just as the name ¡°Pre-engineered¡± suggests, these s are engineered at a factory and are assembled at site.

Alloy 600 is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties and a combination of high strength and good workability and is readily weldable.

It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 ¨C 1500¡ãF (427 ¨C 816¡ãC).?

Prefabricated steel s as the name itself sounds, is made of pre engineered steel. Fabrication is done in controlled environment inside the factory and then sent to client location for assembly.

Incoloy 825 is a superalloy with molybdenum and copper added to Incoloy 800. This makes Alloy 825 superior to Alloy 800 in terms of corrosion resistance.

Alloy 800 has moderate corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content. At high temperatures, it has resistance to oxidation, carburization and vulcanization as well as fracture and creep strength.

This nickel alloy is particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when they are de-aerated. As would be expected from its high copper content, alloy 400 is rapidly attacked by nitric acid and ammonia systems.

The alloy also resists ammonia bearing atmospheres, as well as nitrogen and carburizing gases.

Alloy 347 stainless steel plate cannot be hardened by heat treatment, only by cold working.

Alloy 347H (UNS S3409) stainless steel plate is the higher carbon (0.04 ¨C 0.10) version of the alloy.

Alloy 625 / Inconel 625 is used for its high strength, excellent fabricability (including joining), and outstanding corrosion resistance.

304 stainless steel is the most common form of stainless steel in the world due to its excellent corrosion resistance and value. It contains 16% to 24% chromium and up to 35% nickel, as well as small amounts of carbon and manganese.

A fit-up and welding process must be applied after the edge finish of the parts. Therefore, for stainless steel and carbon steel pipe spools, parts can be located onto steel bases or wooden bases. Furthermore, any contact possibility between carbon steel and stainless steel must be minimized.

Alloy 317L can be easily welded and processed by standard shop fabrication practices.?
