These flanges are useful for industrial applications because of their low electrical conductivity. Standard carbon inclusions in the chemical composition provide less opportunity for carbide precipitation. Many different elements are used in Astm A182 F22 RTJ flanges, including carbon, manganese, phosphorus, nickel, silicon, columbium and titanium. These elements improve the fit of Astm A182 F22 Class 2/3 flanges.
