ASTM A182 F5 flanges are forged flanges made of chrome molybdenum low alloy steel called 5Cr-0.5Mo, UNS designation K41545. Widely used in oil refineries, chemical and petrochemical, power plant pipelines, heat exchangers, various pressure vessels and other pressure and high temperature services.

ASTM A193 Grade B7M bolts and studs have the same chemical composition as Grade B7 (quenched and tempered medium carbon alloy steel) but have lower strength requirements requiring 100% hardness testing on all fasteners manufactured in the batch. Grade B7M bolts are resistant to chloride, sulfide and hydrogen stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and are often used in sour gas service.
