Grade F22 is a type of low alloy steel grade whose content of chromium is between 2% to 2.5%. ASTM A182 F11 Flange is made up of a steel grade that has 1% chromium and molybdenum, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, manganese and carbon in the composition. F1 A182 Alloy Steel Flanges is an alloy steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. Its specified properties are appropriate for the annealed condition. F1 is the ASTM designation for this material and its UNS number is K12822. The content of both chromium and molybdenum is twice that of grade F11. A182 F1 Cl2 Pipe Flanges has a very low electrical conductivity among wrought alloy steels in the same category. In addition, it has a moderately low embodied energy and base cost.
