Inconel 600 round bar is a nickel-based alloy with benign carburization and excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened metal. Nickel 200 Bar Stock contains 99.6% wrought nickel by weight and is considered commercially pure nickel. DIN 2.4066 Bar has good mechanical and physical properties. For example, ASTM B160 N02200 has excellent resistance to many corrosive compounds as well as corrosive environments. Meanwhile, Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened wrought alloy that can be designed as round bars and rods. These two components are used interchangeably and can be distinguished from certain key functions.

Inconel 601 round bar is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing titanium, copper and molybdenum. Inconel 601 Round Rods are chemically arranged for excellent properties, while Alloy 601 Rods are a mixture of Inconel alloys that can be used in a variety of applications.

Cupronickel is highly resistant to corrosion by salt water, and is therefore used for piping, heat exchangers and condensers in seawater systems, as well as for marine hardware. It is sometimes used for the propellers, propeller shafts, and hulls of high-quality boats.

Monel 400 is a nickel copper alloy popular in high performance applications. Monel 400 has excellent acid and alkali resistance, high strength, good ductility, good thermal conductivity, and cold work hardening. It can be used in application temperatures from minus to 1,000¡ãF (538¡ãC).

High levels of chromium and molybdenum provide excellent resistance to localized corrosion. The high nickel content provides very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

The high nickel content in Inconel 600 alloy forged bars enhances the alloy’s corrosion resistance to many organic and inorganic compounds. The presence of nickel also renders Alloy 600 nickel hot rolled bars virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking.

G30 alloy can prevent the formation of grain boundary precipitation in the heat affected zone of welding, so its welded products are suitable for various chemical treatment engineering applications.

Inconel 800 round bar is an iron, nickel and chromium based alloy. This Inconel 800H hot-worked round bar is known for its moderate tensile strength, good oxidation and carburization resistance, and performance at elevated temperatures.
