Nickel 200 is a solid solution strengthened metal. Nickel 200 Bar Stock contains 99.6% wrought nickel by weight and is considered commercially pure nickel. DIN 2.4066 Bar has good mechanical and physical properties. For example, ASTM B160 N02200 has excellent resistance to many corrosive compounds as well as corrosive environments. Nickel-copper-based alloy 400 Monel 2.4360 cold drawn rod is virtually immune to chloride stress-related corrosion cracking when exposed to corrosive media in typical environments. Monel 400 is a copper and nickel based alloy that is popular today due to its high performance. The alloy has excellent acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has good tensile strength, ductility, excellent thermal conductivity, and can be hardened by cold work. Additionally, it can be used in applications with temperatures ranging from minus to 538 degrees Celsius.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. Due to its high nickel content, Inconel 600 is extremely resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Age hardening is not required as Inconel 600 is hardened and strengthened by cold work only. The Inconel 600 can operate in temperatures as low as 700¡ãF (370¡ãC).

Nickel Alloy 400 and Monel 400, also known as UNS N04400, is a ductile nickel-copper-based alloy consisting primarily of two-thirds nickel and one-third copper. Nickel Alloy 400 is known for its resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions, including alkalis (or acids), salt water, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Since Monel 400 or Alloy 400 is a cold worked metal, this alloy has high hardness, stiffness and strength. By cold working ASTM B164 UNS N04400 bar stock, the alloy is subjected to higher levels of mechanical stress, which in turn causes changes in the alloy’s microstructure.

INCONEL? alloy 718 (UNS N07718/W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423¡ã to 1300¡ãF. Inconel alloys are resistant to oxidation and have the ability to maintain its structural integrity in high temperature atmospheres.

Inconel 625 round bar is one of the more common grades of Inconel round bar available. The Round Bar is AMS 5666 compliant. Inconel 625 can be used in a variety of applications. Inconel 625 has high strength, excellent fabrication and excellent corrosion resistance. The viable temperature range for Inconel 625 starts at cryogenic temperatures up to 1800¡ãF.

Hastelloy C276 grade round bars can be used in FGD systems due to their excellent resistance to sulfur-containing compounds and chloride ions encountered in most scrubbers. Alloy C276 Hastelloy bar also has excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting, and the alloy is resistant to stress-related corrosion cracking. Hastelloy C276 N10276 Bright Bar is also one of the few materials that can withstand the corrosive effects of chlorine in the form of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide.

Alloy 625 is especially useful where oxidation resistance and pitting avoidance are required. In the annealed condition, this Inconel is fully austenitic and suitable for machining. Due to its high alloy content, it provides excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of severely corrosive environments. With a nickel content of nearly 60%, it is virtually immune to stress corrosion cracking.

Monel 400 has excellent corrosion resistance in hot concentrated alkaline solution. Monel 400 also resistant to corrosion of neutral solution, water, sea water, atmosphere and organic compounds.

Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy used in applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance. This alloy has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits an ideal combination of high strength and good machinability over a wide temperature range.

Inconel 718 is a precipitation hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing large amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum, and small amounts of aluminum and titanium. 718 material maintains high strength and good ductility at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (704¡ãC). Compared with other precipitation hardening nickel alloys, this alloy has relatively good weldability, formability and excellent low temperature properties. The alloy’s slow precipitation hardening reaction makes it easy to weld without hardening or cracking. Inconel? Alloy 718 is non-magnetic. It maintains good corrosion and oxidation resistance for applications requiring high creep and stress-rupture resistance at temperatures up to 1300¡ãF (704¡ãC) and oxidation resistance up to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC) parts.

Monel 400 (UNS N04400) is a nickel-copper alloy with optimum high strength and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in a variety of severe acidic and alkaline environments. Monel is also used in pipes.

Wear-resistant steels such as EN31 tend to have higher strength properties, which make them durable in a wide range of applications. Although the strength of this material is high, it can be increased by tempering the alloy steel EN31 equivalent. In addition to improving their wear resistance, many brittle alloys are tempered for tougher parts. Between 150 – 300¡ãC (i.e. the EN31 tempering temperature), the alloy is heat treated, then impregnated and the material is then quenched. Unlike some alloys that may be quenched in water, EN31 round bar quenching requires the use of oil.

Incoloy 800 is a nickel, iron and chromium based alloy. Incoloy 800 bar is not only known for its good strength, but also has excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization when exposed to high temperatures. Two additional alloys can be derived from Incoloy 800. They are Incoloy 800H and Incoloy 800HT.

Hastelloy G30 Hastelloy alloy is a kind of nickel base high temperature alloy composed of nickel, chromium, cobalt, tungsten and other elements, the nickel content is about 37%.

As an alloy, Inconel 625 consists primarily of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. In addition to these three main metals, trace amounts of niobium are added to the alloy. Alloying any metal will not only enhance its physical properties, but also its mechanical properties. At this point, the addition of molybdenum and niobium to ASTM B446 Inconel 625 forged bar helps strengthen the alloy matrix. The rigid matrix of Alloy 625 bar provides high tensile strength without the use of strengthening heat treatments.

The Ni-Cr-Mo superalloy Hastelloy C276 has excellent resistance in strong acid and alkali media and prevents pitting, crevice corrosion and SCC. Hastelloy C276 also has broad resistance to wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide media.
