Hastelloy C2000 Tubes are used in a broad range of industries including petrochemical processing, chemical processing equipment manufacturing, oil refineries and power plants.

Other corrosives Hastelloy C-22 has resistance to are oxidizing acid chlorides, wet chlorine, formic and acetic acids, ferric and cupric chlorides, sea water, brine and many mixed or contaminated chemical solutions, both organic and inorganic.

C22 has excellent resistance to chloride-induced localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy G30 Hastelloy alloys exhibit better resistance to commercial phosphoric acid than other nickel or iron based alloys. Its application as an acid evaporator in the fertilizer industry is increasing day by day.

The Ni-Cr-Mo superalloy Hastelloy C276 has excellent resistance in strong acid and alkali media and prevents pitting, crevice corrosion and SCC. Hastelloy C276 also has broad resistance to wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide media.

It is used in flue gas desulfurizations systems because of its excellent resistance to sulfur compounds and chloride ions encountered in most scrubbers. C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to pitting and to stress- corrosion cracking.

HASTELLOY X pipe bend is recommended especially for use in furnace applications because it has unusual resistance to oxidizing, reducing, and neutral atmospheres.

Although Alloy C276 plate has a higher rate of work hardening compared to its austenitic counterpart, in-process annealing may be required if nickel alloy C276 plate is to be work hardened to a higher degree.
