Hastelloy C276 Fastener is a wrought corrosion resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that reduce corrosion resistance. C276 alloy fasteners have good machinability and are used for desulfurization of flue gas equipment and chemical process equipment. Hastelloy C276 bolts are commonly used to hold materials or objects together, or to position objects. A fastener that usually consists of a head on one end and a chamfer on the other. It is typically used in solution treated condition and soaked at 1121¡ãC (2050¡ãF) and then flash quenched.

Hastelloy B2 pipe bend resists the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.

C22 is typically provided in the annealed condition with a minimum yield strength of 45 ksi. However, C22 can be cold worked to higher strength levels.

Alloy C276 Seamless Nickel Tube is a nickel molybdenum chromium alloy with added tungsten for excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments. The high molybdenum content makes this alloy particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.

The corrosion resistance property of the alloy is credited to the addition of both Molybdenum and nickel.

INCONEL C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and seawater and brine solutions.

HASTELLOY C-4 alloy (UNS N06455) is the most (microstructurally) stable of the widely
used nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials, which are well known for their resistance
to many aggressive chemicals, in particular hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and chlorides. This alloy resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.

The high molybdenum content imparts resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting.

Hastelloy C-2000 Fastener, also known by many as Alloy C-2000, is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. The C-2000 fastener (UNS N06200) is unique among other Hastelloy alloys with approximately 1.6% copper added to its chemical composition. These properties make them ideal for applications such as heat exchangers and industrial reactors. Hastelloy C2000 fasteners combine the excellent resistance to oxidizing media of C276 with excellent resistance to non-oxidizing environments, making it a unique alloy for protecting chemical process equipment under a variety of conditions, including fluids contaminated with iron ions .

This nickel-molybdenum alloy is typically used under extreme reducing conditions and has a much lower composition of carbon, silicon and iron than Hastelloy B (Alloy B). Screws made from this alloy are also known as UNS N10665 fasteners.

Hastelloy X alloy (UNS N06002; W.Nr. 2.4665) is a high temperature, matrix strengthened, NiCrFeMo alloy with excellent oxidation resistance and excellent Strength. Hastelloy X alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy that provides excellent oxidation resistance and high temperature strength while still being easy to manufacture.

Hastelloy C276 is a formidable alloy of molybdenum, chromium, nickel, and traces of tungsten. Hastelloy C276 Plates contain high levels of nickel and molybdenum, which provide resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting in reducing conditions, while chromium provides resistance to oxidizing media.

The chemical composition of Hastelloy B2 includes a very small amount of carbon content. Hence, the flanges produced from Hastelloy grade B2 tends to resist the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates during welding in the weld heat-affected zone.

HASTELLOY C276 is one of the few alloys resistant to wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions.

Hastelloy C276 bushings have excellent resistance to strong oxidizing salt solutions such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride. Alloy C-276 has excellent phosphoric acid resistance at all temperatures below boiling point and concentrations below 65%.

Alloy C276 Forged Flange Hastelloy C276 Flanges are made up of the nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that is called hastelloy. The composition includes 50.99% nickel, 14.5% chromium, 15% molybdenum and carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, iron and phosphorus in it. The Hastelloy C276 Flanges have high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. This high melting point allows for higher operating temperatures of the flanges. The material also has 790MPa minimum tensile strength and 355MPa minimum yield strength.

It is also one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.

Cold bending methods often rely on sheer physical force to help bring the pipe to its final shape while hot bending methods use careful heating to reduce the force required.
