Hastelloy C22, also known as Alloy C22, is a general purpose austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. High chromium content provides good oxidation resistance, while molybdenum and tungsten content provides good reduction resistance. Hastelloy C22 alloy also has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine and nitric acid-containing mixtures or oxidizing acids containing chloride ions.

Hastelloy B3 Threaded Flange (UNS N10675) has great resistance to knife ¨C line and heat ¨C affected zone attack. Hastelloy B3 Slip On Flange has a special chemistry designed to achieve greater thermal stability than B-2 alloy, resulting in easier fabrication.
