INCOLOY 800/800H/800HT is a family of high nickel superalloys commonly used in the petrochemical processing industry. INCOLOY 800HT is similar to INCOLOY 800/800H, but with improved creep rupture strength. All of these alloys have high corrosion resistance. At higher temperatures, Incoloy 800 fasteners provide resistance to vulcanization, carburization and oxidation, as well as fracture and creep strength. Incoloy 800 bolts are a solid solution austenitic alloy. Appearing in the microstructure of Incoloy 800 are chromium carbide, titanium carbide and titanium nitride. Incoloy 800H Hex Head Bolts are easy to machine using standard methods. Thermoforming of Incoloy 800 is done in the temperature range of 870 to 1200 ¡ãC (1600 to 2200 ¡ãF). Incoloy 800 screws are used in power plants.

Alloy 825 bolts have good mechanical properties from low temperatures to moderately high temperatures up to about 1000¡ãF. Microstructural changes that significantly reduce ductility and impact strength occur when used at temperatures above 1000¡ãF.

INCONEL 800H/HT – Alloy 800 (UNS N08800/1.4876) is a widely used material for equipment construction requiring corrosion, heat, strength and stability up to 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC) . Incoloy Inconel Alloy 800 has moderate corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content.

ASTM B564 Uns N06600 Flanges nconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy used for applications that require resistance to corrosion and heat. This nickel alloy stands out due to its resistance to high temperature oxidation, remaining highly resistant to oxidation through 2200¡ã F. Alloy 601 develops a tightly adherent oxide scale which resists spalling even under conditions of severe thermal cycling.

DIN 1.4876 Rounds can work over a range of temperatures and pressures and exhibit excellent mechanical properties. These components have a minimum tensile strength of 600mpa and a minimum yield strength of 275mpa. ASTM B408 Incoloy 800 Precision Ground Rods are designed to have a uniform cross section. The strips are dimensionally and geometrically accurate.

Incoloy 800H has a restricted carbon content range of 0.05 to 0.10%, which is in the upper portion of that of Incoloy 800, and is annealed at 1149 to 1177oC (Incoloy 800 is annealed at 983 to 1038oC). These differences impart it to have higher stress rupture and creep properties than Incoloy 800.

Inconel 725 bolt material meets ASTM B446, B564, F467, F468, UNS N06725, DIN EN 2.4856, AMS 5666 and BS 3076 specifications and is adequate for demanding strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature applications up to 1000o C (1800o F).

Both materials remain available, subject to commercial considerations, and certain specifications which restrict the service temperature of some grades of INCOLOY alloy 800H.
