Incoloy 800HT is further modified with titanium and aluminium combined levels (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance. Nickel alloys are double certified (800H/HT) and combine the properties of both forms.

These tubes can be readily welded in place following common welding process without requiring a matching filler metal.

Inconel 800, whose chemistry forms over 50% of nickel is known to be more expensive than the former.

ASTM B564 Uns N06600 Flanges nconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy used for applications that require resistance to corrosion and heat. This nickel alloy stands out due to its resistance to high temperature oxidation, remaining highly resistant to oxidation through 2200¡ã F. Alloy 601 develops a tightly adherent oxide scale which resists spalling even under conditions of severe thermal cycling.

In power generation, superheater and reheater tubing has also employed the material 800HT.

The principle di?erence between alloys 800H and 800HT is the restricted aluminum and titanium content in 800HT, which results in higher creep and stress rupture properties.

This precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium alloy combines outstanding corrosion resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. The alloy is an about 2x as strong as Inconel grade 625 having excellent creep-rupture strength at temperatures to 1300¡ãF (700¡ãC) and usable up to 1800¡ãF (982¡ãC). Inconel grade 718 is often used in gas turbines, rocket motors, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps, and tooling.
