926 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with a chemical composition similar to alloy 904L with 0.2% nitrogen and 6.5% molybdenum. Molybdenum and nitrogen contents significantly improve pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in halide media. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen not only ensure the stability of the metallographic phase, but also reduce the tendency of intergranular segregation during thermal process or welding process better than nitrogen content. At higher temperatures, Incoloy 800 fasteners provide resistance to vulcanization, carburization and oxidation, as well as fracture and creep strength. Incoloy 800 bolts are a solid solution austenitic alloy. Appearing in the microstructure of Incoloy 800 are chromium carbide, titanium carbide and titanium nitride. Incoloy 800H Hex Head Bolts are easy to machine using standard methods. Thermoforming of Incoloy 800 is done in the temperature range of 870 to 1200 ¡ãC (1600 to 2200 ¡ãF). For high temperature applications requiring optimum rupture and creep properties, Alloy 800H Plate (UNS N08810 Plate) and Alloy INCOLOY 800HT Coil (UNS N08811 Coil) are used. These are also known as WNR 1.4876Sheets, WNR 1.4958 Plates, and WNR 1.4859 Coils.
