Incoloy 825 round bar 2.4858 steel bar nickel alloy bar

Inconel 825 is a nickel alloy that can be used in businesses that handle high thermal reactions. For example, Inconel 825 round bars are commonly used in industries such as air pollution control, chemical and petrochemical, steel pickling, ore processing, petroleum refining, offshore oil and gas production, food processing, and waste disposal.

Unlike Werkstoff No. 2.4858 alloy 825 round bar, ordinary stainless steel or carbon steel alloys are not good at absorbing this elevated heat. They lose their mechanical properties. Unlike common steel alloys, however, Nickel Alloy 825 round bar stock can not only withstand such conditions, but also work well here.

Incoloy 825 bar is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy to which molybdenum and copper have been added and is commonly used for parts in pickling equipment such as tanks, baskets, chains and heating coils. These Incoloy 825 bars are an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with other alloying elements added to increase resistance to chemical corrosion.

Nickel Alloy 825 Bar, Bar and Wire is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium. The chemical composition of the alloy is designed to provide superior resistance to many corrosive environments. The nickel content is sufficient to resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Along with molybdenum and copper, nickel also has excellent resistance to reducing environments, such as those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Molybdenum also helps resist pitting and crevice corrosion. The addition of titanium serves to stabilize the alloy – after proper heat treatment – against intergranular corrosion susceptibility.
