Incoloy 800H and 800HT are typically used in parts above 1100¡ãF where creep and fracture resistance is required. The chemical balance allows nickel steel alloys to exhibit excellent resistance to carburizing, oxidizing and nitriding atmospheres. Incoloy 800HT will not become brittle even after prolonged use in the 1200-1600¡ã F range where many stainless steels become brittle. 800HT exhibits the excellent cold forming qualities normally associated with Nichrome.

Alloy 926 is a super austenitic molybdenum stainless steel with excellent resistance to a variety of highly corrosive environments. The combination of molybdenum and nitrogen in its composition resists pitting and crevice corrosion, while copper improves sulfuric acid resistance, while nitrogen increases yield and tensile strength.

High creep strength is attained through control over crystal grains¡ªvia high temperature heat treatment, together with fine control over carbon, titanium, and aluminum content.

Incoloy 800 / 800h / 800ht round bars are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with high tensile strength and excellent corrosion resistance. These are also in a carburized state at high temperatures. Incoloy 800 is a pure grade material, slightly modified to 800 h grade. These round bars are suitable for elevator temperatures in construction applications.

Incoloy 825 hex nuts are known for their tight tolerances and precise dimensions. Incoloy 825 Heavy Duty Hex Nuts offer excellent resistance to localized corrosion such as reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion. These Incoloy 825 nuts have good mechanical properties from low to moderately high temperatures. However, exposure of these alloy 825 nuts to temperatures above 1000¡ãF results in microstructural changes that significantly reduce ductility and impact strength.

One of the main benefits of using nickel alloys is that they tend to be resistant to high temperatures. ASTM B425 UNS N08825 bar stock has a nickel content between 38% and 46% and is able to withstand a moderately high temperature range without affecting its tensile strength. This property is particularly useful in applications involving nuclear fuel reprocessing, where Incoloy 825 Square bar is considered a value-add. In nuclear reprocessing, the process involves separating chemicals such as fission products and excess uranium from spent nuclear fuel.

Alloy 800 has moderate corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking due to its nickel content. At high temperatures, it has resistance to oxidation, carburization and vulcanization as well as fracture and creep strength.

Incoloy 800HT is further modified with titanium and aluminium combined levels (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum high temperature performance. Nickel alloys are double certified (800H/HT) and combine the properties of both forms.

UNS N08825 Flange Incoloy 825 Flanges are one such type of flanges that have outstanding resistance to oxidizing as well as reducing acids. They are fabricated to improve their resistance to corrosion and are clean to weld

Inconel 825 fasteners have excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids in addition to general corrosion. These Incoloy 825 fasteners also resist stress-related corrosion cracking, localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Incoloy 825 is particularly resistant to acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid. Austenitic stabilizing elements such as nickel, one of the main alloying agents for nickel alloy 825 hex bolts, remain unchanged even in high temperature environments. Since the structure remains unchanged, the DIN 2.4858 studs are less likely to deform.

UNS N08800 sheet has been used in a variety of industries and has become a mainstay in high temperature, high exposure applications.

Alloy 925 is a nickel-based alloy with major additions of iron and chromium, but also molybdenum, copper, titanium, and aluminum. The combination of high strength and corrosion resistance makes it suitable for applications such as valves, hangers, packers and pipes in sour gas environments. It can also be used for fasteners and pump shafts in marine environments.

The combination of nickel and chromium provides protection in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. The high nickel content also provides resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is also excellent. The alloy is produced by a vacuum remelting process, but can be supplied using an air melting single-consumer electrode (VAR or ESR) practice if material specifications permit.

For applications requiring higher resistance to stress rupture and creep, especially above 1500¡ãF (816¡ãC), use INCOLOY Alloys 800H and 800HT.

Incoloy 800 is an alloy whose primary constitution is made up of nickel, iron, and chromium. This particular alloy, unlike the former, has less than 50% nickel content in its chemical composition. Aside from their chemical makeup, the other points of distinction for both the alloys are their use in a specific set of applications or industries.

INCOLOY Alloy 800 can be hot worked in the temperature range of 871-1232¡ãC (1600-2250¡ãF).

Chemically, Incoloy fasteners are composed of nickel, iron and chromium as the primary alloy materials. In addition to these elements, trace amounts of molybdenum, copper and titanium are added to the B425 N08825 alloy. Components made from this alloy, including various Inconel 825 bolts and nuts, are less prone to deformation. This is because the alloy has a stable FCC microstructure. Like many conventional austenitic grade stainless steels, Alloy 825 threaded rod has a stable austenitic structure.

In power generation, superheater and reheater tubing has also employed the material 800HT.

High nickel content ensures resistance to stress corrosion cracking, combined with molybdenum and copper provides strong resistance to reducing environments such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid, chromium to resist oxidizing environments such as nitric acid, titanium to inhibit intergranular corrosion, and overall resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

The combined effects of mechanical and thermal processing of Incoloy Alloy 800HT permit higher design stresses to be incorporated than are permitted for the conventional Alloy 800H.

They can also resist aqueous corrosion and hence can be used in marine applications.

Incoloy 825 alloy pipe is made from basic elements such as iron, nickel and chromium, which provide basic rust and pitting resistance at ambient temperatures. This alloy has elements such as molybdenum, titanium and copper added in small parts, adding more to the product and increasing its machinability even in marine conditions.
