Alloy 20 (Alloy 20) is an iron-based austenitic alloy developed to resist sulfuric acid corrosion. It has excellent resistance to sulfuric acid corrosion; it has strong resistance to phosphoric acid, nitric acid and chloride environments, chloride stress corrosion, pitting corrosion and crack corrosion. A335 P22 is a seamless tube made of ferritic alloy stainless steel. Chemically, the alloy of SA335 P22 material contains trace amounts of carbon, manganese, sulfur, silicon and phosphorus. The main additives in the alloy are molybdenum and chromium, which give stainless steel excellent mechanical properties. Tensile strength, corrosion resistance, hardness and other properties are enhanced and improved. Molybdenum reduces the brittleness caused by the addition of chromium.

A335 steel pipe can be used in NACE applications at high temperature and high pressure in sour environments, can be used in NACE-MRO 175 Sour Service, ideal for creep rupture applications, can handle high temperatures with very low elasticity.

1.4529 (UNS N08926) has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and in acidic environments containing sulfur and hydrogen
It can effectively resist chloride ion stress corrosion, and also has good corrosion resistance and good stability in oxidizing and reducing media.
The mechanical properties are slightly better than 904L, and it can be used in the manufacture of pressure vessels from -196 to 400 ¡ãC.
