Hastelloy C2000 is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses, this type of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy is renowned for its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

It is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.

The Corrosion Resistant HASTELLOY alloys are widely used by the chemical processing industries. The need for reliable performance leads to their acceptance and growth in the areas of energy, health and environmental, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization industries.

Hastelloy C2000 Tubes are used in a broad range of industries including petrochemical processing, chemical processing equipment manufacturing, oil refineries and power plants.

It demonstrates good resistance to neutral and reducing environments. This alloy creates a tenacious oxide, protective film that does not spall off, but it retains superior oxidation resistance at soaring temperatures.

INCONEL C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and seawater and brine solutions.

Applications in the chemical process industry involving sulfuric, phosphoric, hydrochloric and acetic acid.

Hastelloy C22 socket weld flanges are used in the chemical process industry in equipment like flue gas scrubbers, chlorine systems, sulfur dioxide scrubbers, pulp, and paper bleach plants, pickling systems.

HASTELLOY(r) B-2 is a wrought nickel-molybdenum alloy that can be used in the ¡®as welded¡¯ condition.

Hastelloy C276 boards can be easily welded using the most traditional processes. In general, 2.4819 Hastelloy C276 Coil does not require post weld heat treatment. Brushing these boards with stainless steel wire after the welding operation usually removes the hot color and likewise creates surface areas that do not require additional pickling.

Another difference between Astm B626 Nickel Alloy C276 Welded Pipe and Alloy C is that Alloy C276 pipe has better machinability.

All of the common methods of welding can be used to weld Hastelloy C-276 alloy, although the oxyacetylene process is not recommended. Special precautions should be taken to avoid excessive heat input.

Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking plus, thermal stability superior to that of alloy B-2. In addition, this nickel steel alloy has great resistance to knife-line and heat¨Caffected zone attack.

C276 is suitable for off-shore applications where hydrogen-sulphide stress corrosion cracking resistance is essential.

C276 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a small amount of tungsten that exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh environments. Applications include, but are not limited to, stack liners, pipes, dampers, scrubbers, stack gas reheaters, heat exchangers, reaction vessels, and evaporators. Industries that can use C276 include petrochemical and chemical processing, power generation, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, and waste treatment, to name a few.

HASTELLOY X pipe bend is a wrought nickel base alloy with excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. All of the product forms are excellent in terms of forming and welding.

C22 has excellent resistance to chloride-induced localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.

Hastelloy Cold Drawn Tubes and Tubes – Offers good machinability, higher strength and constant degrees of freedom compared to hot rolled and cold drawn tubes. These pipes work more efficiently because their microstructure is very constant and also have increased physical properties.

Hastelloy C22 machined gaskets also have the best resistance to environments that encounter reducing and oxidizing conditions in the process stream. Hastelloy C22 round washers can be welded, forged, hot upset and impact extruded. Typical chemical process industry (CPI) applications for Hastelloy C22 punch gaskets include reactors, heat exchangers and columns. Hastelloy C22 flat washers have excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, tool marks and weld heat affected zone erosion.

The high molybdenum content of Hastelloy?* C276 provides the alloy with its excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Hastelloy c22 fasteners are also resistant to wear in high temperature atmospheres and corrosive environments. Some of the environments in which these fasteners exhibit resistance are oxidizing media, reducing media, chloride environments, and sulfur environments. They are resistant to attack by chemicals such as nitric acid, chlorine, sulfur, acetic acid, organic, inorganic, phosphorus, etc.

Hastelloy C-276 has a higher molybdenum content.

Hastelloy C276 bushings are widely used in the harshest environments such as chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and recovery of sour natural gas.

The pipes are having good stress corrosion cracking and pitting resistance ability.

Hastelloy G-30 is commonly used for providing excellent resistance to chemical conditions.
It offers resistance to nitric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
Corrosion resistance properties are also retained even in welded form. High ductility. It is
used in chemical treatment plants, agitator blades, nuclear plants etc.

Hastelloy B3 bolts are also known as alloy B-3 bolts and can be found under UNS N10675. This alloy is extremely resistant to pure hydrobromic, sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. Many industries, including the chemical industry, consider the alloy easy to machine, and its ductility allows machinists to easily form and even weld.

ASTM B619 UNS N10276 C276 pipes are also available in other shapes such as square, rectangular and hexagonal pipes. 2.4819 Hastelloy C-276 Alloy C276 pipe is used in applications where bending should not reduce strength. These ASTM B619 N10276 seamless pipes are mainly used to transport fuels from one place to another, as well as chemicals in different parts of processing plants.

Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion and stress corrosion cracking and better thermal stability than alloy B-2. In addition, this nickel-steel alloy is highly resistant to knife-line and heat-affected zone attacks.

Hastelloy B3 Lap Joint Flanges has a special chemistry designed to achieve a position of thermal stability greatly superior to that of its forerunners.

The alloy is forged between 2250/1750oF (1230/955oC) and then soaked at the forging temperature for 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging should begin immediately, the billet is removed from the reheat furnace, a 25/40% reduction helps retain as much internal heat as possible. For optimum corrosion resistance, forged parts should be subsequently annealed. See Heat Treatment.
