These Hastelloy B2 Weld Neck Flanges should not be used in oxidizing media or where oxidizing contaminants are available in reducing media.

In comparison to the other Hastelloy alloys, Hastelloy C2000 Flanges were designed to provide more adaptability. In addition to adding a little amount of copper (1.6%), this was accomplished by enhancing the proportion of chromium and molybdenum.

Hastelloy B3 fasteners offer the same excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strong reducing chemicals as other B alloys, including B2, but with significantly enhanced thermal stability and easier fabrication. Like B2 alloys, B3 fasteners are not recommended for use in the presence of iron or copper salts that can cause rapid corrosion failure.

Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy. It has excellent oxidation resistance, workability and high temperature strength. It also exhibits good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. It shows very good ductility after prolonged exposure at 1200 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. It has excellent forming and welding properties, and is widely used in furnaces for aircraft and gas turbines.

Alloy C-276 is also defined as Alloy C276, Inconel C 276 or Hastelloy C, which is a superalloy with a perfect combination of molybdenum, nickel and chromium. Tungsten is added, which is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance even in harsh environments.

Nickel alloys provide high resistance to a wide variety of corrosive agents, oxidation and excellent performance at high temperatures.Certain Nickel Alloys are better for high temperature applications, while others do a better job with corrosion resistance.

It is also one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.

Alloy C276 plate is a high strength grade designed to be thicker than 6mm. The panels have a minimum tensile strength of 601mpa and a minimum yield strength of 204.8mpa. C276 composite panels are made by bonding two or metals in place. Meanwhile, Alloy C276 is resistant to oxidation at 1800¡ãF in the open air. However, alloy C276 is generally not recommended for high temperature service. The high molybdenum content makes alloy C276 prone to catastrophic oxidation under stagnant conditions, such as under solid deposits.
